@corbie crow She left gaming that same year (1981) and moved on to briefly become vice president of Laser Disc Computer Systems, a short-lived company that did… Something with laser discs? She only stayed there till 1982. Today she is President of Position by Design, an interior design company that I believe she founded in 1991.

That Honey ad was actually the most realistic VHS filter I’ve seen. Sound quality and all (well like before HiFI stereo sound on them lol)

Julian, apparently, owns a video-to-VHS conversion setup, so that’s likely not a filter. MandaloreGaming “borrowed” it for a bit in his Alien Isolation video and credited him at the end of it.
So it took forever for them to find their footing again after the arcade game and then when they finally had a decent product and formula with Ancient Shadow and Helmet Chaos…they didn’t immediately do that well on account of all the mediocrity that came before them. So they threw it all out for another rebrand with a bunch of cheap generic games…amazing.
The fact that in a professional environment, an investor actually said “Give her her god dam kid’s game.” Is surprising and hilarious to me.
Not that surprising when you think about the environment it happened in. Shoot, it’s not even that surprising for corporate game dev dudes *today.*

Any time I hear about how many classic games almost never got greenlit I have to wonder how many incredible games got strewn across the cutting room floor before even having the chance to be made
Noodle’s growth from car games to getting hit by car games is truly one of the character developments of all time.
