@Winston Smith Can’t tell whether you’re being sarcastically pro Nazi or not but there we go. The fact is that the Azov Battalion are in fact NOT Nazis. They went through radical change since they first appeared almost a decade ago now and frankly any of those who are on the far right are probably in a smaller percentage than those in the US Army. All they are now is a very mixed group of very brave soldiers who were trying to defend their country.

People of Western Ukraine and Eastern Ukraine are not of the same ethnicity, language, culture and history. They are two different nations. Ukraine is ruled by Western Ukrainian neo-Nazis. Their grandparents led by Stepan Bandera served in German Nazi army in WW2 and they murdered hundreds of thousands of Polish, Jewish, Ukrainian, Belarusian, and Russian civilians during the war. Between 1943 and 1945, led by Stepan Bandera, Western Ukrainian nationalists, who officially collaborated with German Nazis, massacred Poles throughout Wołyń, a region of Nazi-occupied Poland. that territory is now part of Western Ukraine. Throughout the period, Ukrainian nationalists murdered around 100,000 Polish civilians. They wanted not only to purge Polish civilians, but also to erase all traces of Polish presence in the area.

Today’s Ukrainian regime named a street in Kiev after Bandera. The Bandera Street is adjacent to a place called Babiy Yar, where Ukrainian Nazis were executing Jews in WW2. The Times of Israel wrote about the Ukrainian regime in 2016: “Kiev’s local council decided that one of the bustling city’s main northern arteries will now honor Ukrainian nationalist Stepan Bandera. Bandera was a leader of Ukraine’s nationalist movement in the 1930s and 1940s, which included an insurgent army that fought alongside Nazi soldiers during part of the Second World War. His group also was involved in the ethnic cleansing that killed tens of thousands of Poles in 1942-44. The Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists portrayed Russians, Poles, Hungarians and Jews — most of the minorities in western Ukraine — as aliens and encouraged locals to “destroy” Poles and Jews.”

The first things Western Ukrainian neo-Nazis did when they came to power in Kiev in 2014 to “fight for freedom” – they were burning and vandalizing Russian Christian churches and physically attacking Russian priests there, wearing swastika, proclaiming Hitler as their hero, and declaring that Ukraine is for Ethnic Ukrainians only.

Kiev came into existence as a city and as the capital city of Russia, many centuries before anyone ever heard about Ukrainians. Rus was the original name of Russia then. Which is also in the name of Russians – Russkie of Rus. Kiev is officially called the motherland of Russian language because that’s where Russian language emerged. That’s where Russians converted to Christianity more than 1,000 years ago. Russians moved capital city from Kiev to Moscow for safety reasons, because Kiev was closer to borders and often under Turkish and Polish attacks. After that, Kievan region was considered as a province of Russia.

Eastern Ukraine was part of Russia before the 1917 Revolution. Bolsheviks took that territory from Russia and declared it to be part of Ukraine because Ukraine was 100 percent agrarian at that time, and Marxist theory of communism stated that revolutions were done by proletariat, not farmers. Territory of Russia east of Ukraine was industrialized and had Russian proletariat. Bolsheviks-communists transferred it to Ukraine, together with all the Russians who lived there -in order to say that Ukraine had proletariat.

Translation: communists gave Russian territories with ethnic Russian population to Ukraine to justify communist ideology.

As a result, Western Ukraine is populated with Ukrainian neo-Nazis, whose grandparents served in German Nazi army and committed war crimes against humanity; Eastern Ukraine has been Russian land for more than 1,000 years and it is populated with ethnic Russians, whose grandparents fought AGAINST German Nazis.

Which is why Western Ukrainian neo-Nazis view ethnic Russian civilians of so-called Eastern Ukraine as prey to hunt and kill. Exactly in the same way in which they murdered Polish civilians in WW2. Now, they have a unique situation in which they can kill as many ethnic Russians people as they want and then they accuse Russian military of doing that.

Western Ukrainian neo-Nazis began shelling Donetsk and Lugansk cities and villages since 2014. For the last 8 years, they have killed 14,000 Russian civilians, including women and children, in Donetsk and Lugansk of “Eastern Ukraine.” In Donetsk, there is Alley of Angels with a memorial for ethnic Russian children murdered by Ukrainian neo-Nazis.

Anne-Laure Bonnel, a French journalist spent many years in Donetsk, where she recorded and documented the crimes committed there by Ukrainian neo-Nazis. In March 2022, she talked about that in her interview with one of the French TV channels. During the interview she showed photos of arranged-by-the-Ukrainian-government genocide of ethnic Russian civilians and destruction of their villages and cities by Ukrainian neo-Nazis in so-called Eastern Ukraine (Donbass and Lugansk). Then, the French TV interrupted and banned Anne-Laure Bonnel in the air in the middle of the interview.

There is a channel of the American journalist Patrick Lancaster, who is reporting directly from Mariupol. He records the destruction of the city and he interviews local civilians, who confirm that Ukrainian Azov Nazis are guilty of destroying the city and murdering civilians. Just today, he interviewed local civilians telling how Azov snipers intentionally target and shoot civilians when they are trying to walk out of basements to get some water. His videos are with English subtitles. Just have to warn you. What he shows is VERY intense and heartbreaking (for people who actually have a heart).

As for the pseudo-argument of “Ukraine has a president who is Jewish, therefore, there are no Nazis in Ukraine.” That’s nonsense. Soros is Jewish, and he collaborated with German Nazis in WW2. Recently, he said in his interview to American journalists that the time of his collaboration with German Nazis in WW2 was the best time of his life.
