Haven’t been this excited about a Pokémon game in almost a decade
@Faycrafter it’s not even graphics, this game looks empty, and by their advertising and this being the first actual NEW gameplay and not short clips of the same footage we’ve seen over and over every trailer, it’s a little sad they think this is the big hook.
It’s like they just invented the wheel when we’ve had cars for years and they could be inventing hovercrafts with their money.
Why?
@Wrecking Crew
I’m not getting this Nintendo 64 game.
@Detective Joshua shut up
Seriously 😂
Cautiously optimistic, I’m seeing alot of things I’ve wanted in the series
LA with a side of salt
Same
Same here. Honestly, my biggest issue is the graphics. They’re now awful or anything, but I know the switch can do so much more.
@DingleBurrs monster Hunter Pokémon
@sUwUicidal Thoughts Same
It’d be really cool if Legends kinda became a spin-off series of its own like Mystery Dungeon, set in different time periods in different regions. Like a ‘Legends: Mew’ or ‘Legends: Victini’ that maybe goes more into the history of these mythical pokemon, like I’m hoping Arceus does.
They could tell us the story of the Draconids-Rayquaza in Hoenn, as a game it could feel like the Wind Waker but for pokémon, with long sea exploration and multiple isles to discover. Plus Hoenn has plenty of cool places with the volcano, a deep jungle in fortree, maybe even a recently crashed meteor falls.
Someone mentioned Pokemon Legends: Unknown in another YouTube video and since then I’ve been hoping for that. Learning about the unknown would be awesome.
Pokemon legends Mew, Celebi, Deoxys, Victini/Keldeo/Genecect, Hoopa, Marshadow, Zarude
Didn’t know what to pick for gen five so I put down a few, I would love if they kept making these games for their mythical pokemon
Pokémon Legends: Marshadow… A few months ago I actually made up a logo for that.
@Hazakura Suyama That’d be cool, and maybe instead of Kyurem they could give the Original Dragon an official name.
I like the emphasis on your player being a researcher first and foremost. It’s a subtle change that fits better with the concept of catching pokemon and exploring the world
Yeah not 12 year olds traveling the world and stuff
Agreed also it adds a bit of realism since not EVERYONE wants to be the strongest in the world
@Johannes Ha That never made any sense. Specially in Gen 4 when a kid can catch up the pressure duo.
@Ditto realism is cheap
I love that gameplay battles are getting closer to what battles would be like in real life.
It’d be awesome to find hidden towns that weren’t known to be on the map. Imagine finding a ghost town flooded with ghost type pokemon while trying to discover why it turned out that way. Would love that.
I hope they do have hidden places or the open world will feel kind of empty with only one town.
@Eithan McGarrity Seems more and more like a Monster Hunter type gameplay. Main hub town is where you always go back to and for every mission you go to a different zone (snowy area, volcano area, open field area). Don’t think there’s gonna be that much to actually discover. Ofc this is just my own speculation
That would be freaking awesome!
That would be great! Therefore, give it another 15 years and it might happen
This is too good of an idea
Main character brave to throw food at a raging monster 5 ft away from them
Well the kid in the funny cowboy hat told them they should, so they kinda had to, right?
This all seems good and I’m excited, I’m just also worried that this’ll turn into a delivery boy simulator. It seems like the main content and driving force behind the game is the missions and quest system, which I’m worried might get repetitive and boring. I’m still optimistic as I know that there may be a better balance of content or the quests might not be monotonous at all, but I’m still a bit hesitant to unequivocally praising it.
I feel the beginning or parts will be like that which may make other parts seen great when it’s different
That’s a weird way of saying “I kind of like it because you guys like it but heres why I don’t like it”.
I was expecting more hands on interaction with your pokemon team, and was kinda disappointed to not see some kind of camp, pet or feed feature. Or follow pokemon for that matter. How cute would it be to have cyndaquil hop and skip behind you, protecting you from a potential surprise attack? Then it could auto trigger battles, instead of having to manually throw out a Pokemon. A cool idea I think, that probably won’t be in the game..
Monster Hunter pokemon
@EndGamerPlays or maybe he just doesn’t like it?
This actually feels like what the pokemon experience should be in real life

I hope there will be a bit more interaction with the players Pokemon team. Like will our Pokemon be able to follow us? Camp? Pet? I seen something similar to that in a previous trailer, but curious as to what exactly you can do with your team besides battles and cutting trees
