Yorgos Lanthimos back with something that looks totally unique. I can’t wait

    • M.Syauqi Abdurahman says:

Unique, Absurd, Surreal, Weird, Gorgeous. All encapsulated in this teaser. Yorgos Lanthimos trully amped his style to 11 with this one.

    • Jonathan Bachman says:

You mean unique by ripping off about 90% of Tim Burton, right?

    • drumbum3.14 says:

      @M.Syauqi Abdurahman
No Disrespect; but You Forgot Abstractly Sensual..

    • drumbum3.14 says:

      @Jonathan Bachman
Have You, Jonathan Bachman; Seen this film yet,?.. 😐😐😐

    • M.Syauqi Abdurahman says:

@drumbum3.14 Yes, i mean we are talking about Yorgos Lanthimos. The Favourite is already a trippy period comedy drama and Yorgos wonders what if he brings that trippyness into adaptation of Poor Things. According to the teaser, very very trippy.

  2. mbeliba says:

Yorgos Lanthimos is a cinematic maestro who wields the camera like a conductor’s baton, leading audiences on a wild and unforgettable journey through the depths of the human psyche. His films are like a twisted, absurdist funhouse mirror, reflecting back the absurdities and contradictions of modern life in a way that is both hilarious and terrifying. With a razor-sharp wit and an unapologetic eye for the grotesque, Lanthimos has carved out a unique and indelible place in the pantheon of modern cinema.

  3. PhilosopherCook says:

Cinematography, design and costumes look incredible.

    • utubesuxalotofazz says:

Well, a lot of it is cgi so I am not sure about the cinematography. You don’t exactly film digital information.

    • juan peña hernandez says:

@utubesuxalotofazz yet avatar won best cinematography at the oscars so i think this can also be concidered cinematography

    • Joseph says:

It’s like a combination of the cinematography on The Favourite combined with a Tim Burton meets Wes Anderson design esthetic.

  4. MidKry LeGda says:

Nice to see Emma Stone back. I know she’s mostly drop off the projects and spends more time with her new family, but I really miss her sometimes on screen.

    • Halloween Spirit 🎃 says:

She have other Lanthimos production title ‘And’ and a ‘Cruella’ sequel in the near future

    • Nikita Mohan says:

She was just in Cruella which was a 2020 release. 2 or 3 years gap isn’t an abnormal absence in Hollywood anymore. She also co-produced her friend Jesse Eisenberg’s directorial debut with A24. But ya I mean it’s normal for most mothers to want to spend more time with their new born kids at least for the first 3 or 4 formative years cuz they won’t get that time back again before work becomes their focus again.

  5. Edgar Left says:

At least an Oscar nomination for best product design.

  6. Electric Eye Engraving says:

One of the best film makers today. Cant wait to see what unique masterpiece he came up with next!

    • Sai says:

but he didnt write the movie, the favourite writer is actually one of the best, not this director.

    • Noname says:

@Sai another director wouldn’t have ended up with the same result though. he is great at what he does.

    • Sai says:

@Noname the director just aprove the actors and the movie, the good one u mean is the cinematograph, and maybe the writer then, never the director, u actually don’t like the director u like the cinematograph, u are confused or dumb, in any case, u are wrong, greetings 😉

  7. missreader says:

when it’s a Yorgos Lanthimos movie , you know it’s gonna be good

  8. Christos Psihogios says:

Looks like a mixed tone of Guillermo del Toro’s and Terry Gilliam’s imagination. Can’t wait !!!

  9. Innovative Saint says:

You already know this gonna be good. Art still is alive and well.

  10. Arijit [SCCS] says:
