I had a small stroke the 9th of April 2005, and a second massive
one two days later. No fun. But apparently I had more things to do on this
    earth, someone sent me back.
Only the constant progresses made me endure, and not give up.
In 2007 I was able to drive again. Only in 2011 I rode a bike again, my
    balance was improving.
Never, never more I will be a “Couch Potato”. I´m trying to make more than
    3 hours of exercise
weekly, my goal are 10 hours or so. I´m a bit older than Randy Traywick
(seven years), but having a stroke
at 53 helped me a lot in Rehab, being young like him is advantageous.
So no drinking, no smoking, no overweight, no drugs, lifestyle changes, all
    that helped me a lot.
Believe me, three month in a wheelchair are terrible for someone used to be
    on the move.
My goal is … never to give up. So let´s be patient, a step at at a time,
    recovery takes very, very long,
the main thing is to be alive and kicking again.
With patience and a very careful lifestyle, may be in 2020 Randy is back as
    before. ¡Congratulations!

Props to Garth for speaking the truth. Without Randy’s traditional country
platinum success in 86/87, we never have the neo traditionalists movement
that took country to the next level.
