I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard at the death battle in a long time. Having the fight start to see you would stand up to the monster chasing them was a great touch because they are canonically friends. Scooby-Doo turning into a giant that eclipses the planet straight out of Asura’s Wrath made me burst out into laughter.
I usually don’t mention the music but the song be reminiscent of some of the island was epic
And this was a very rare DB draw. They’re both too good boys to die. Excellent episode.
Very hyped for Rick vs the Doctor too.

One of the few times I’m fine with a draw. This was honestly one of the best episodes they’ve done.
And I think this is only the 6th Death Battle to end in a draw. Besides the other example Wiz and Boomstick mentioned, the other 4 were:
Koopa Troopa vs. Goomba
Eggman vs. Dr. Wiley
Justin Bieber vs. Rebecca Black
Deadpool vs. Pinkie Pie

The sound design at 17:07 is absolutely phenomenal. I can feel the catastrophic impact of Courage’s scream tenfold
I’ve honestly got chills there lmao.
It’s everything. The sound effect of the sonic boom, the timing with the music, the scream itself, the animation
Absolutely my favorite part. Especially how the music gets deafened from the scream’s impact.
Courage’s fears list being titled “The Things He’s Done For Love” is perfect and priceless 😂
And scooby’s feats list is “what he’s done for a scooby snack” 6:00

I like the fact that Eustace ended up how he did, since it wasn’t a uncommon thing in his show for him to have died or whatnot at the end of an episode due to his own faults, which is a great touch. His toon force is also very impressive lol
As much as I like Scooby, I believe courage has this considering what he has to face compared to Scooby.
The fact that it ends with both of them sharing a laugh is perfect! Dog friends not killing each other is a 10/10. And also Eustace got his!
I can say comp Scooby beats DBZ verse not DBS now without people not knowing why glad universal Scooby was believed with the evil entity scaling
Eustace dying at the end also makes this a 10/10 Death Battle 🙂
