Wow after watching this I guess i feel pretty fortunate. My flight leaving Salt Lake City was supposed to depart at 11:15 Thursday the 22nd and kept getting delayed every half hour. Finally at 4:45 they tell us the flight was cancelled. So I stood in a line along with all of the 175 passengers and got super lucky to get one of the last available seats on the last flight out that night. I have never had an experience like this. I would not want to be the people at customer service who deal with this all the time. They made my stressful day have a happy ending . Otherwise I may have never made it out to California to be with my daughter. I feel for these people having to wait in limbo.

I can’t help but wonder how many of these people dealing with the hassles of travel are on their way to see family they don’t really want to spend time with anyway.

@Jason Skinner that’s because the masses are asses.

    • Senator Joseph McCarthy says:

@Jason Skinner . The prudent man forseeth the evil and hideth himself, but the simple pass on and are punished.

      Ha Ha Ha!
      That’s hilarious! and accurate!

its weird to think that just because its a holiday, and you maybe had a plan, suddenly everyone is willing to literally risk their lives to go have christmas. seems a bit idiotic to me. there isn’t really anything being done tomorrow that you can’t put off. I mean nationwide we are at like a dozen 40+ car pileups in the very first night. As far as the people in the airports, its a bit hard to feel bad for them. I don’t wish anyone ill, but you had days and days of networks talking ad nauseam about this and you took the chance anyway, sounds like you made this bed yourself.

Most people must of konw that the weather was going to mees things up but still try to travel across the country. Hope everyone stays safe and help people out if you can and ask for help if you need it but please stay home

  5. Eugen Karanxha says:

When people know what the weather is going to be I don’t know why they would want to travel knowing that many plains can’t take off in a weather like this

  6. Shirley Pettit says:

Wow, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, again.

  7. Ct Bt says:

With all of those flights cancel this is a perfect example of why the US need high speed mag lift trains . High speed, mag lift trains. Mag lift trains operate differently than regular rail trains.

  8. Allan Timko says:

    It’s the MOST…wonderful time….of the year.

  9. DAVID ROBERTS says:

It never ceases to amaze me that people think they can drive on a sheet of ice without chains on all four tires. Hello?!

    • Storm says:

We do in Alaska, but most of us do have winter tires

    • Matt Christensen says:

I live in Utah and haven’t used chains in 40 years you just have to not be an idiot from California and it’s easy the fact that you’re talking about chains shows me you know absolutely nothing about what you’re talking about must be from Cali please just stay there

    • Tanya H. says:

      @Jason Skinner 🤣🤣🤣

    • Dev D says:

In Mason Co, even chains weren’t helping. County plow trucks loaded with sand got stuck on hwy3. It was nasty everywhere. People still tried to drive in it. Folks who were here for the 96′ ice storm remember how bad it was.

    • Jason Skinner says:

don’t knock it til you try it, it looks like fun……just use someone else car though
