Time is a flat circle for the Georgia Bulldogs as they once again find themselves facing the Alabama Crimson Tide for a huge game. This time, it’s the College Football Playoff. Hoping not to make it 8 straight losses to the Tide, the Bulldogs reach out to a few of the teams who have actually managed to beat Alabama to see if they have any advice to offer.

@Kristopher Goad Agreed 100%. I’ve been telling folks for the last month that Tennessee hung the most points on Georgia than anybody all season up until the Alabama game. Coach (of the year) Josh handed Coach Nick the roadmap, and Saban is gonna drive it to another national championship.
@Rock Solid honesty I can’t believe Michigan didn’t copy it. Oregon showed you can run the hurry up with a run based offense. That could’ve changed the game for em and opened up some shots downfield. They really just played straight into Georgia’s strength.

As a Clemson fan I can tell you that nothing good comes from being the favorite when playing Bama. I’ve always said that the one thing Bama and Clemson have in common . Is that you don’t want to play them when they’re pissed. Hopefully UGA will come in pissed. But there’s that hope chic again and you know how bad she cheats.

The Quint (Robert Shaw) parody is one of the great moments in SEC Shorts. I knew when I heard the fingernails across the blackboard where you were going with that. Classic, and great cinematography on that shot as well.

@Jy’Rion Bell Because you’d end up with too many cooks in the kitchen, there’d be more money involved, hence more attempts to police content, etc. This seems like the kind of thing that works so well precisely because they aren’t beholden to anyone else. Right now they can do what they really want, so they believe in what they’re doing. Throwing a bunch of money and different interests into the mix would probably just turn it into a travesty of itself, too slick, too sold out, too many people to answer to. But, hey, that’s just the way I feel as a fan, and I could be wrong.
Everyone involved with SEC shorts should be very proud of themselves. You bring smiles and laughter to so many people, and that’s a very special talent.
I’m glad we can supply an endless amount of material for SEC Shorts. It will make this next NC failure vs. Bama that much more bearable.
