    • Rodney Mclin says:

      Way to go sunny!!

    • Abyrne777 says:

@Rodney Mclin I can’t stand her, but I do have a certain level of respect and admiration for her. She has turned “being oppressed” into a very successful career. Only in America can such a thing be achieved. Even whoppie built the foundation of her career on actual talent and acting ability. Jumping jack flash, ghost, star trek? Just great performances all around that had nothing to do with such juvinile issues like ethnicity or gender.

    • Alpha Renz says:

@Rodney Mclin it is not systemic racism it is systemic poverty/economic status.

Nothing to do with skin color and everything to do with how people act/behave.

Family is the core. Two parent households behave better, get higher education, earn more. This the *underlying* issue.

It starts with *PARENTS* learn how important that role is. Not the *GOVERNMENT* they can never care for your kids as much as you do!

  2. KonradAdenauerJr says:

Senator Scott did a good job of explaining his view, in front of a clearly-hostile audience and hosts. His family’s American story is very compelling, and kudos to him for presenting it.

  3. Animal Cruelty Help says:

No matter what facts u present. No matter what evidence you show.. some ppl still state their own TRUTH as facts. Some arguments are useless, one is arguing with some one who has a political agenda and is being paid for it. Good job senator exposing this bigotry.

  4. Conrad says:

He’s got guts of steel to come on the show, speak respectfully and have a conversation. He knew he was going to get smoked by these hosts yet he did it anyway like an adult. Creds to you Tim Scott

  5. Steven Keller says:

So nice to wake up to this. More please!😊Thank you Tim Scott!!!

  6. Geraldo S says:

I believe the problem is much more systemic classism than systemic racism, there are poor whites and brown on the streets homeless as well. How can you then say the system is ONLY punishing blacks, when its punishing other races at a greater rate? Red-lining in the housing industry, poor schools will systematically trap any race if you’re unlucky enough to earn under a certain amount and stay in a more poorer part of town. That’s a problem of classism of all races, not just racism.

    • Isaiah Hill says:

      Exactly!

    • Kodi Ham says:

But they can’t talk about that because it doesn’t fit their agenda.

    • Dionne deVille says:

To be clear, the proposition of systemic racism isn’t that ONLY Black people are punished, it’s that the upward mobility of Black people is adversely affected at a disproportionately high rate. You may still take issue with that, but be sure you know what you’re disagreeing with.

    • Bill Barr says:

@Dionne deVille yawn…. here we go. please tell me what system is racist? or do you just believe that any difference between races must be the result of the invisible forces of racism. talk to any successful black person and they will tell you that it is a complete load of nonsense.

  7. JP says:

This is one of the most measured, smart conversations with any politician they’ve ever had on this show. They asked him some tough questions and he handled them gracefully and respectfully. This man as a leader could do a lot of much needed healing. I’d vote for him.

  8. Keith Johnson says:

Tim Scott rocks! I am a black man and was taught that you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to. We have raised two God loving young men who are very successful! Shame on Sunny…

    • Moni Wilderness says:

I am going to guess you have Caribbean parents

    • katheryne turner says:

We can do anything, but are black/brown given the same opportunity and chance as whites without being stereotyped beforehand by skin color alone, no black/browns are judged by skin tone and work double hard to just get same basic level opportunity when whites are given more without proving themselves.

    • vigarobugs says:

Absolutely I’m a black woman, I own my own business, house and I live debt free and have never been in trouble with the law. I am not the exception!! Sunny message is DANGEROUS! I honestly can’t believe she has a platform.

    • C Gibbons says:

Clearly you don’t know what you are talking about.

    • C Gibbons says:

@vigarobugs Well you are not the Rule.

  9. Marie Whalen says:

I love how he made eye contact the entire time. Respectful.
