  2. dirbrody says:

1:02 Why did Benicio fire that pistol like that?

  3. Brandon May says:

Part one was amazing but did not need a sequel.

      Yeah shut up Brandon

    • ichdichhasserwasser says:

Sicario was alright, this will be heaps better

    • Mike Crosky says:

It was always planned to be a trilogy.

    • Frank Valenti says:

if its just as well made as the first than im a happy camper. and it looks like its gonna be focusing more on the two best actors of the last one. same director and cinematographer too. If they still got a story to tell than idk why you wouldn’t want them to continue. every film should stand on its own so its a good thing that the first one didn’t need a sequal. but im confident that this will be an amazing stand alone film just like the first was. you should go comment this on that awful looking oceans 8 trailer haha

  5. Musty McGee says:

    *Benicio got that trigger finger.*

  6. Dump Vids says:

1:23 why is he shooting at police?

    • Oliver peña says:

      corrupt cops maybe

    • Jimagie Kevin says:

How do you know they are really police? Rember from the previous film when Emily Blunt´s character was almost killed by “Policia” during that gunfight on the border. It is the land of wolves and not everyone can be trusted

  7. SamyulDavis says:

Did…did some people think Sicario was a cool guns & action movie?

Toro’s character isn’t meant to be badass, he was a morally bankrupt monster. Chriiiist.

    • Donk Conklin says:

I’m not so sure he was a “morally bankrupt monster”. Remember that everything he was doing was a means to exact revenge on the man who ordered his wife and daughter killed (in a particularly heinous way).

    • McQueen The Dream says:

SamyulDavis I wouldn’t call him a monster but he was certainly morally bankrupt. I also wouldnt bash the sequel just yet since we’ve only seen one trailer and maybe the trailer just focuses on a lot of action but maybe the whole movie won’t.

    • Joseph K says:

He was completely morally bankrupt. He murdered the guy’s kids and wife in front of him and murdered many others to get to that location. The movie is essentially built around the Nietzsche quote:

“Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster… for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.”

It depicts the US fighting cartels with tactics that resemble those of the cartels themselves. Del Toro himself personifies this fall by his pursuit for revenge. At the end of the movie he has become no better than the monster who he kills, the drug lord said it best:

“Your wife… you think she’d be… proud of what you become?

Del Toro is a husk of the righteous lawyer he once was, his character has become a bloodthirsty killer, his sole purpose in life revenge. He threatens to kill an FBI agent at the end, and it is clear that he has no problem with killing anyone who gets in his way, regardless of whether they are a good guy or bad guy.

The movie is a commentary on the role of the US in the world, a harsh criticism of the beast we have, or will, become while fighting monsters.

    • Grindstone says:

Thank you, Joseph K. Someone who actually watched and understood the movie.

    • Mike the bike says:

Joseph K I interpret it as a movie about necessary evil, which is one of the truths many people forget about in this world

  8. aldo montano says:

Am I the only one who wasn’t expecting a second one?

  9. Mohamed Ali says:

    This movie looks intense.

  10. u get a gain & u get a gain says:

Screw all the dc or marvel bullshit movies that are coming out THIS IS THE MOVIE IVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Red Flannel Shirt Guy says:

Although I am disappointed that Denis didn’t return, the fact that the production retained Taylor Sheridan, who also wrote the first one, Hell or High Water, and Wind River, gives me enough hope to give this a shot.

  12. Irena says:

The original writer of Sicario, Taylor Sheridan, wrote this as well. You know it’s gonna be good.

  13. Steve Govea says:

When I read the title, i was like please don’t let it be some fan made trailer….Thank God i was wrong

  14. alupihan says:

Sony execs: “You know what Sicario lacks? MORE INSANE GUNFIGHTS!”

TBH I kinda feel worried about this sequel.

    • moviemaster8510 says:

Thankfully, it’s written by the same guy, and he’s proving himself to be one of the most capable screenwriters of the decade.

    • Robert Benitez says:

Jacky’s Cookie the movie was already made, lionsgate and black label had a dispute which lead them to give the distribution rights to Sony. They have nothing else to do with what the movie will be like.

    • Movies with Matticus says:

The trailer to the first movie kinda made it look like that too. At least more action packed than it ended up being.

    • Number XV says:

      ̿’̿’̵͇̿̿з=( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°)=ε/̵͇̿̿/’̿̿ ̿ ̿ ̿ ̿ ̿

    • Klorg Lork says:

It’s the director of the Gamorrah tv show witch is fucking amazing so I wouldn’t worry

  15. ItzSilentStorm says:

wait…what? I had no idea this movie was happening. Is it still being directed by Denis Villeneuve?

  16. David B says:

Hell yeah! Loved the first movie, can’t wait for this.

    • IceColdKilax says:

David B Hope this will be Amazing Hoping for a TV Spin Off of SICARIO, basically 24 Meets Mexican cartel Wars.

    • MrAdonis258 says:

David B I hoped Emily blunt return at the end to catch these sick fuckers on the third movie. That would be epic.

    • McQueen The Dream says:

MrAdonis258 Though I love Emily Blunt as an actress her Character in sicario was boring. I’d honestly hate the movie if she returned just to bust the 2 Characters that I’m rooting for

  17. Joseph Wasilitz says:

Now Sicario was a pretty well thought out movie, this looks like an all out action flick. I hope the did not sacrifice story in the name of action. If they managed to merge the two… oh my.

  18. MrGoodkat says:

You know how to start a REAL war on drug cartels with much much lower casualties and cost? Legalize and regulate drugs. Their whole reason for existing instantly disappears when you remove the revenue.

    • MF DOOM says:

It will work but they’re dabbing into oil now so we will have to move to renewables if we do legalize drugs

    • Executive 1 says:

MrGoodkat that won’t solve the problem, that’s something academics came up in a debate but won’t work in real life, to defeat the cartels you must actually fight a war and not pretend to fight one like we are doing now

  19. TheWOWRichardqian says:

  20. rvfjone says:

*Matamoros* … Reynosa, I’m here in Mcallen, TX … We need a real life Sicario to get rid of all the Cartels?! Peace like it used to be?!
