Martin Scorsese’s SILENCE tells the story of two Christian missionaries (Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver) who face the ultimate test of faith when they travel to Japan in search of their missing mentor (Liam Neeson) – at a time when Christianity was outlawed and their presence forbidden. The celebrated director’s 28-year journey to bring Shusaku Endo’s 1966 acclaimed novel to life will be in theaters this Christmas.

    Yay! another Scorcese movie. I’ve been waiting for this trailer awile now.
    when the set photos were released I was like okay this film will be
    extremely boring. but its Scorcese so i will give it a chance. but this
    trailer surprised me. the scenery the cinematography everything looks
    phenomenal so now I am excited to see this.

    Looks like in may be another great movie by Mr. Scorsese. But of course,
    Martin is such a great director he could probably literally take someone
    off the street put them in one of his films and they would probably be
    nominated for an Oscar by the following year.
