this will either be accidentally hilarious or genuinely terrifying

  3. Will Campbell says:

I was like “alright yeah the unknown murderous entity following the confused new victim. Meh. Seen it before” But then that last scene actually made me jump like a Jack rabbit.

  4. Victor Castaneda says:

Jesus, that last scene got me by surprise. I thought she was just going to be smiling at her but nah, they took that shit to a whole new level!

  5. Jack Smith says:

The scene shot upside down in the trailer are referring to the scene at 0:56 that shows the scale of pain patients are in from 1-10. The poster shows an upside down smile on the scale (frown) is the worst kind of pain while a normal smile is no pain. The scenes that are shot upside down are imagery portraying the people who are smiling are actually in the worst kind of pain (according to the poster at 0:56).

  6. Christian Deleon says:

I can’t tell if this looks ridiculous or actually interesting, mainly cause of the cinematography and possible potential it may have.

    • Nikita Mohanan says:

Everyone’s solid acting chops, directing and cinematography make it look like something very legit, respectable and promising. Like I don’t see any cheesiness or campiness here in the promos which was obvious in last year’s Malignant. I which they didn’t release or shos that 5 second tease in the theater cuz everyone was laughing like “WTF was that?” They should have just put this out first!

    • First Name says:

it’s definitely an interesting concept, my only problem is that it seems to have a lot of plot points and idk if they’ll all tie together well but i’m probably gonna watch it anyway just to see

  7. Iaroslav Dekhno says:

Also gives off some It Follows and Ring vibes…But holy-moly this is EXTRA creepy. Got chills throughout.

    • Saint Chadam says:

@sunchild the whole “it follows” , “ring”, and “grudge” conceots terrify the crap outta me

    • sunchild says:

OMG YESSS! It definitely gives It Follows! The whole “only i can see the thing that’s trying to kill me” vibes.

  8. Spenced buddy says:

Loved the last scene. It 100% set you up to think “she’s gonna bend down and be grining” then what happened happened and my heart left me lol

  9. MythicVixen says:

I’m quite intrigued with how the smile thing works, I don’t think I’ve seen anything quite like it, this trailer does a good job with showing what exactly makes it dangerous without giving everything away. The opening shots alone triggered that uncanny valley sense in my gut! And as someone who likes watching short horror videos, I want to see how this goes.

  10. Tony Mata says:

What “Truth or Dare” tried to do, make smiling terrifying. This one is going to be one unnerving movie. 😳
