    Good on ya’ Coyote, i’ve seen too many animals affected by careless fishermen.
    This is why you dont fish in restricted areas. Also, dont leave your line or excess fishing gear lying around.
    It could cause any number of animals to get tangled up and stuck.

      Izices catching snapping turtles is something that just happens from time to time no matter how careful you are. Fun story I caught a painted turtle simply because he wouldn’t let go of the bait, he wasn’t even hooked and held onto that bait through the air and everything. Needless to say I let him have it.

      That’s why I use carbon steel hooks instead of stainless. Stainless will still fall out after a while but carbon steel rusts alot faster.
