It was a fun change of pace that kind of reflects Destiny’s tone. The majority of Guardians are goofballs and gamer-like canonically, so it really fits.
Although Zavala’s backstory has been fleshed out since you played last and its a bit more tragic than you would think. Shaxx or Saint-14 would be the better option for “if you aren’t shooting you aren’t having fun!”

Its honestly really is incredible how different this game feels with friends. Playing this game solo gets boring pretty fast for me, but the moment I get into a fireteam with my buddies, I feel like I can play for eternity.
@Terin Richardson dude, you can’t compare party game’s that are meant to play with friends to a looter shooter. I mean it’s called a party game for a reason. Yea you still can play those party game’s alone but who the hell plays among us and mario party alone?
I’ve been playing solo for years. It definitely gets a little stale but all my buddies including me just don’t have much time to hop on solo. I’ve only ever finished vault of glass nothing else 🙁

@Mario Badia Destiny is built so that people are forced to play together. Doing raids aka the most fun thing Destiny has to offer makes you play with people
@Mario Badia dude it’s a multiplayer game it’s literally designed to be played with multiple people of course it’s better with more people. There’s tons of single player games if you want to play alone
As a hard-core veteran player, trust me, you arent alone in the slightest. Everyone is veerrryy well aware how awful the new/returning player experience is 💀 hopefully Bungie is working on it internally. Im glad you were still able to enjoy your time!!
I really want to get back in it now that my daughter is bigger (2 years) but just thinking of opening the game and being inundated by 10 quests that I left undone and paying as much as 200 Euros for the updates, puts me off..
I swear I can’t help but die of laughter when act and his bros start doing zavala impressions. “guardian you aren’t shooting which means you aren’t having fun” 😂
The story has also improved by leaps and bounds. The seasonal story model is fantastic. Keeps me coming week after week.
Somehow I always knew that you were a Titan main lmao I’m glad you’re having fun with the game. If you love the art direction, the raids have some of the best locales and music in the game. Garden of Salvation, Last Wish, and *especially* Deep Stone Crypt are beautiful

Thank you for making this. I’ve been playing constantly since D1 Beta. And the comment of “ there’s only 2 difficulty levels” was spot on. The difference between normal and legendary difficulty on the Witch Queen was ridiculous for a solo player like myself. Thankfully it seems they’re integrating LFG into the actual game with the next DLC. Only took them 7 years.. but hey good job. 👍 P.S. the Lance Reddick impressions were brilliant. More please 😂
I’ve just started playing Destiny 2, and already I think it’s a great game. The art design, armour customisation and weapon variety is just awsome. The weapon/armour modifications and perks can be overwhelming, but I think overall Bungie has made a solid game.
P.S. It’s very true. It’s invigorating to stop everything and listen to those sweet scores.
