The jokes in this are top notch, Cynthia just suddenly disappearing and the abra teleporting bit are great

  2. Giuseppe says:

I’ve never seen something so hilariously accurate as the Pokémon trainer staring Vaporeon dead in the eyes with a look of nothingness as they tell Vaporeon to fight and die again. Absolute gold.

  3. Png says:

I like how every terminal montage video features the main character being drastically harmed more than in the game, but the journey is also made way easier.

    • Void Shyguy says:

yeah but really the main characters shrug off a huge amount of damage they would realistically take like shown here

Legends arceus had the best evolution animations, and i loved to see that included with this animation. Truly a masterpiece 👏👏👏

@blaster915 Especially when Legends Arceus is the best ever Mystery Dungeon game.

@Silicon Soldier Except for Rescue Team, Explorers, and Gated to Infinity, where you can only evolve after you’ve finished the game.

    • Silicon Soldier says:

@Candy Neige Yes, like ever other Pokémon game ever.

    • Candy Neige says:

And it’s even better when you realize that you can actually evolve before you’ve even finished the game, like in Super, but unlike in Super, where you eventually have to de-evolve, in Legends Arceus, evolution is permanent, so if you’re Cyndaquil and you evolve yourself into Quilava, you can’t revert and go back being Cyndaquil, and likewise, if you’re Quilava and you evolve yourself into Hisuian Typhlosion, again, you can’t revert and become Quilava again, but on the bright side, you’ll be permanently stronger when evolving.

The panic after Dawn realized she sacrificed more than half her team is really relatable

@FeyWinter Fox it is in the past, candyneige6609 is just being a troll

    • Candy Neige says:

@WindyRen I’m not trolling, i’m just telling the truth.

    • Candy Neige says:

@Cyber Soul That’s because knowledge of the Rotom appliances is lost to time.
Also, Porygon and Magnemite went extinct with the apocalypse that happened between the events of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and the events of Legends Arceus, and are also not man-made at all, they’ve always existed in the Pokémon world, that is, until they were made extinct with the apocalypse, which is why Magnemite and Porygon does exist outside of space-time distortions in the Mystery Dungeon games, which are set in the past, before humans existed, but not in Legends Arceus, which is set in the post-apocalyptic future.

    • Candy Neige says:

@Tigressa101 But the future can’t affect the present ???
The apocalypse has already happened, and Arceus hasn’t done anything to prevent it because Arceus knew that most Pokémon species, including humans, won’t go extinct, and by the times of Legends Arceus, the apocalypse had already been a distant memory, Arceus is more worried about Volo teaming up with Giratina and causing a mass extinction, though, so to prevent this mass extinction from happening, Arceus took someone from the present day and sent it to the post-apocalyptic future.

Man that line from the never ending story gets me every time. I’m surprised people still know about that movie

  7. Siaknil says:

the fact that you took the time to count how many eyes all of the Pokémon have in existence deserves respect by itself.

    • PKMN Trainer Mark says:

      @Juan Martín Arenillas
You counted wrong. Scarlet and Violet got us to 1008 Pokémon. Walking Wake, Iron Leaves, and the DLC Pokémon we know of get us to 1015.

    • Kelly Johana says:

@Colin mAnd there are Pokémon without eyes like Roggenrola who actually only has an ear.

    • J U D M says:

If they meant EVERY POKEMON there would be billions cuz y’know spinda

    • Colin m says:

@Oliver Park  there are 38 pokemon that don’t have 2 eyes. And it took me 5 minutes to count them.

That means, that out of the 905 pokemon from Gen1 to Gen 8, there are 867 pokemon with two eyes.

  8. Kookio says:

The final boss fight was truly a first for Pokemon in a long while. The first actually difficult Pokemon battle I’ve had in a long time.

    • Winter Song says:

@Mina optional sure, but how is it a secret? You’re literally told at the start of the game to seek every Pokémon to meet Arceus.

    • Mina says:

@TH3 G4M3R more like secret optional boss

    • TH3 G4M3R says:

If you’re referring to the giratina & volo fight then it is very difficult but for me personally I see arceus as the final boss.

  9. Ethereal Spoon says:

As a fellow animator, I know just how much work went into this.
    Great job!

  10. RegiTrioTrio says:

I loved every second of this. Especially with how well you encapsulated how it felt fighting Volo. Also I loved Akari being sweet to Braviary and then Volo getting yeeted by Braviary for being hit.
