This is why I became a Sonic fan it’s because you do hard work it’s amazing how you never give up. You’re have improved that you can beat the plummer. I’m so proud of you Sega!

@Zachz I think he sounded way better in the divergence prologue and in the 6th twitter takeover.
Imagine making the best game in the series in a decade, debatably two, and then adding even more to it to make it better. I can’t be more hyped for this.
And for free no less.
It started with 1 hero, now it ends with 4 heroes. THE FINAL HORIZON IS UPON US ALL
4 heroes (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy) and 2 villains (Dr. Eggman and Sage), teaming up to fight their common enemy.

She’s an ai so her ideas of good and evil are influenced by both eggman and sonic
She mostly sides with eggman but without an ulterior motive of her own- she’s just following orders. And she wants to make her creator proud of her
Villain or not they did a great job making me sympathize with her.
I really wish sonic had like thanked her for her sacrifice or something in the base game
He doesn’t really acknowledge her growth all too much
I love how The End is always visible in all the scenarios in this teaser, it’s a looming reminder of upcoming world ending events

I want to say thank you Morio Kishimoto, and thank you to the entire Sonic team at Sega for creating this beautiful love letter to us all over the past year, thank you for listening to fan suggestions and for making this game awesome, I’m so excited for the Final Horizon update as well as Sonic Superstars and whatever comes down the line for the blue blur!

They do.
It’s called every other game before this one.
Not really, they sound like the characters had grown but they are still the same.
I LOVE how each line corresponds to a character.
“Find your fortune” – Amy’s fortune-telling from Sonic CD and her desire to go out and look for more in the world after Frontiers.
“Forge a new destiny” – Knuckles is tied to his destiny defending the Master Emerald and is breaking free of that a little (while not abandoning it entirely) by going off on his own after Frontiers.
“Discover the ultimate truth” – Less sure on this one, but Tails is a scientist and the smartest of the group. Paired with his dialogue in this trailer, I wouldn’t be surprised if his part of the update has something to do with discovering more about the Ancients/the End.
“Rewrite your story” – Sonic gets a new (and/or expanded) ending to his story from Frontiers.
This is a fantastic trailer. The art, the writing, all of it is so full of passion for the series. I can’t wait to see what you’ve created!
If they were gonna subvert our expectations more, I’m sure Tails is just finding out why he’s inconsistent and discovers he’s a puppet to a much bigger god (the writers).

It feels so good to be excited about Sonic again. I’m beyond excited to finally get more playable characters in a 3D game again for the first time in 17 years! Can’t wait for this update to drop!
It’s cool to see Tails, Knuckles, and Amy finally get to shine in the new DLC! I can’t wait!
