This is a fantastic looking trailer. The environments look much better, the voice acting seems pretty good, some of those new combat moves look interesting and now the story has become far more intriguing. Can’t wait to discuss the story and characters when the game releases.
@Spikey hedgehog1991 unless Sonic Team of all people manages to change the core gameplay from what it is now, do not expect something you will enjoy for more than 30 mins. The Desert is the emptiest triple-A game open world level I’ve ever seen in years, and it’s supposed to be releasing in 2 months.
I really hope there’s a lot to do in all the islands otherwise it will get boring pretty quick, other than that the gameplay looks smoother than last time.
@Gilad Jacob because that’s what companies do when they are trying to fix their public relations. You have a comment telling people a game is good (with reasons nobody truly has) to the vast majority who think the game is underwhelming. Call it brainwashing or something, but Sonic liked to make you agree with something that you wouldn’t normally

those cutscenes look outstanding, really show off how expressive sonic can be. not to mention how much better the animations and gameplay look. definitely gonna pick this one up
The voice acting, the environments, the facial expressions, almost everything had improved. I’m actually pretty positive that the frontiers is gonna be an awesome game
I can’t believe it, but that trailer was actually fire! I also like how they’ve basically confirmed that Amy is going to play a central role in the story which is something completely different for the sonic franchise, but in a VERY good way. I look forward to seeing what Sonic Frontiers actually brings us in November at this rate. Hopefully something good in the gaming world because after Sonic Origins, this franchise needs a gaming win. We’re putting our faith in you once again Sega! Don’t let us down!

The Last time Amy had any significant plot important role in the games was Adventure 1&2 and oh man with this trailer Frontiers is hitting all the right buttons for me.
This looks so impressive! I love how this trailer shows us more of what the game will consist of and it seems to share some elements with the Sonic Storybook games but with a more serious tone.
I was really shocked to know that Roger Craig Smith managed to make Sonic sound so solemn, but considering he has had a history in voice acting more serious roles I shouldn’t be too surprised. But with Sonic games where Sonic had to get serious such as Forces or Lost World, he still sounded remotely hopeful and optimistic *(most infamous example of this was in Forces where apparently he was tortured for six months yet still cracking jokes and grinning as if nothing ever fazed him)* but this time around it seems as if we might be getting a more stoic Sonic, closer to how he was in the Adventure games or Sonic 06.
I am also so curious to learn and know the story of how Sonic got to this place and who these other mysterious characters are and what their main motivation is. And I wonder if these are entirely new opponents that Sonic will be facing against or if Eggman will have some reason to do with it. Either way, I am highly intrigued!

I love how roger’s sonic sound’s here, it’s like…slightly more different then his previous role’s as sonic, and it sounds REALLY nice, this is looking like a fire game from what I’m seeing.

This looks like the perfect blend of Generations and Unleashed which is something I’ve been hoping they get around to for a while now.
Also the villain gives me an “evil Cosmo” vibe and as someone who grew up with Sonic X that’s cool.
People need to stop with the reference of older games, it gets old.
Like dude, this game looks nothing like generations, colors or unleashed. Its something completely different

@Pixelator Paint uum.. It definitely isn’t. This is definitely not an introduction to cosmos and all that. sonic X isn’t canon at all. it was just an anime where everyone hated Chris Thorndike.

Wonderful trailer, the game already looks much more fluent. The environments are wonderful. With of course the wonderful 2D gameplay that every sonic fan loves. The combat is beautiful, the enemies look cool, and I couldn’t be any more excited than to see more characters! Well Done Sonic Team! 🙂

When I heard sonic speak, Roger’s voice was nearly unrecognizable, he almost sounded like a completely different person. I have a feeling this with this writing and voice direction, this might be his best performance yet, and single line alone blew over the entirety of Forces’ script.
