      3. He hates playing Spiderman

  3. Grimace says:

It was so great to see all them together talking being a fan of spider-man and growing up with the originals and seeming them come back to play there roles is truly amazing, and Im so happy to see Jamie as well.

  4. CharlesThaDancer says:

This feels like an incredible return to form. There’s a certain class these guys bring to the table. Feels like classic Spidey again

I love how they brought the ‘stakes’ into it, like how every villain usually has a harrowing back story that makes them act out or have a personal vendetta. Hence why many villains are sympathised with to some degree and makes the audience go, “well can you blame them, they have a point though”, but obviously you don’t want them to succeed. I’m not into comics but I assume comics have always had the time to draw you into the villains real motives, while classic hollywood movies in the past did not see it important. Finally the last 10 years or so, hollywood have finally realised movie goers want to dive into the psych of the villains because we can all relate to feelings of grief, jealousy, being overlooked, being left behind, being downtrodden and even wanting revenge for bad things happening to us etc. I’m excited to see what these amazing actors bring.

I never knew Alfred Molina was English! They really nailed it with the casting of these villians in the old Spidey movies. I mean Willam Defoe Is a PEFRECT Green Goblin, the look, the VOICE. Jamie’s Electro is the biggest change from the comic material but he’s a great actor and pulls it off really well! So pumped for this movie!

    • VulcanMushroom says:

@Gary Payne You are so full of yourself. It isn’t because our country has a short history, it’s because American is a county built on immigration from all over. Spanish, French, and English territories all slowly brought together and immigrants from every direction. Our culture is a mixing pot.

    • Meeko says:

      Biggest hint should’ve been ALFRED

    • the madclown says:

Electro in the comics wasn’t the best villian anyways. If he was comic accurate everyone would make fun of his outfit.

    • the madclown says:

@Otto Taylor-Rickard tbh I think there just trolling

  7. Jacob H says:

Man, these guys are such wordsmiths. They perfectly convey what they’re saying with their own unique twist. Jamie is more musical, feeling the words out and letting them come naturally. Molina is a poet; everything flows together and has a larger meaning than. Dafoe gets straight to the point; his words don’t lack meaning, but he knows the most efficient way to get them out and still manages to say so much. These guys are pros…mainly at hiding spoilers, is what I’m trying to say.

  8. Brian Alvarez says:

You can tell how much effort was put into Sam Raimi’s spiderman. The fact that William Defoe and Alfred Molina talked about the difference in available technology from the two different movies. And that still didnt stop them from creating a movie that looks like it came in this time of the year. This is what I love about Sam Raimis Spiderman movie and if you saw the behind the scenes all of the hard effort was put into it. Seeing them come back makes me so happy.

  9. Scenic Fights says:

I still can’t believe Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx are now in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

  10. Jack Plumb says:

Unbelievable point in movie history. It was surreal to hear Alfred and Jamie were returning way back when, but when I heard Willem was rumoured to return, I couldn’t believe it whatsoever. His stature as a villain in that original trilogy is like none other.
