That certainly wasn’t easy, but it was some damn good hockey on both sides, GO AVS!!! 1 down, 3 to go!!!!!!

@Adam Foote lol go cry bro haha

    • US-Bahn says:

@angel in the same place. Lightning doesn’t strike in the same place twice. But it does strike in Dallas, it does strike in Montreal. And you better believe it can strike up in the mountains. Keep your head low.

    • US-Bahn says:

@Daniel Lewis yea that 2015 Blackhawk victory over Tampa Lightning was by no means a cake walk. Very low scoring games (5/6 were 1-goal decisions) and there was crazy puck luck situations: Kuch messing up his shoulder skating into the post; Hedman & Bishop colliding full force allowing Patrick Sharp an easy empty-netter; Coburn breaking his stick in the final minutes of the last game allowing the Saad-Richards-Kane final dagger.

      @US-Bahn lighting doesn’t strike a third time

    • US-Bahn says:

      @angel oh that’s aggressive.

@BlackKnight501567 hey….as a life long BRUINs fan for 55 years plus…i get it.
the leafs have to learn how to close/kill an opponent when they have them down.
they need some guys like MAROON because they sure as hell have the talent

    • BlackKnight501567 says:

@Dave Miller it’s Toronto though, we knew it was over the second they took the series lead lol

    • Dave Miller says:

think the folks in toronto might take umbrage of your viewpoint.
the bolts were veryyyyy fortunate to skate out of that series

I was there. Whew, that was an epic, exhausting game. This is going to be one great series.

@DozyLama don’t count Tampa out. Have the veterans and cup experience. Have comeback all playoffs. I do hope Avs win though

    • Juan Villamil says:

@DozyLama I’m sorry but you can’t predict the future lol just enjoy the game

    • DozyLama says:

I doubt it. It will maybe go 6 probably 5. Colorado out paces Tampa and that’s with them having such a long break. Tampa just doesn’t match up

  5. chris says:

Damn these two teams both deserve to be here, this series has the makings of an instant classic

      No what? No war!
No war, no war, no war.
      Exterminate the Bolts!

  8. TUFFY says:

Both these teams are so skilled it’s scary. As a NYR fan, I hope my whole team is taking notes on this series to see what it takes to play at the highest level.

  9. GBuster says:

Kuemper looked rusty but recovered after those two quick Bolts goals in the 2nd. Getting his very first Finals start wasn’t easy, but he got it done.

    • IndianMC1901 says:

@John Smith Keumper seems very unfocused to me right now. Almost playing scared. He’s been that way since he got a stick in the eye earlier in the playoffs. I get the fear but, this is no time for a head case. I’m sure Bednar has VERY short leash on him.

    • Mike Bunzey says:

@John Smith I was wondering the same thing! Where’s Frankie?

    • caddrafter48 says:

@John Smith maybe you should apply fo the head coaching job. Let me know how that goes.

    • GBuster says:

@John Smith Kuemper most definitely does not suck lol.

    • John Smith says:

Kuemper sucks. Good regular season goalie, but not impressive in the playoffs. If the Avs lose this series it will be because of his lackluster play. Francouz had the hot hand. They should have started him in this series. The entire team seemed to play better with Francouz in net.

  10. Phreakzilla85 says:

Really looking forward to seeing how this series plays out. It’s the first time during Tampa’s run where they’ve met up with a team that’s truly on their level in the Finals. Not trying to take anything away from Dallas or Montreal, they both went on great runs to get so far, but TB was the clear favorite in both series.
