I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am for this crossover! I like that they apparently kept Brad’s hair color a bit more subtle. But Mariner is 100%!! The sleeves are up!!!😆😆

A live action crossover of an animated series is pretty epic. Can’t wait to see the episode for the 7th time.

  3. Raguleader says:

I just wanna say that my heart is so happy for Boimler getting to trade the Sincere Vulcan Salute with Mr. Spock, especially after his run-in with Captain Sulu last season.

I *literally* got chills watching this. PLEASEEEE never cancel this show best Trek since TNG (also I thank Sisko & the Prophets for giving us a live action Boimler & Mariner 🙏🙏🙏

@powerbad696 powerbad696 I would definitely agree that SNW is the Best NuTrek. Personally, for me, LD is right up there with it. That being said, I could understand why some might not appreciate a comedy-leaning animated series, so if you gave that a pass you’d be forgiven. Still, LD’s S1E10 finale was brilliant and had me wahooing and getting shivers when the TNG theme kicked in!!! Both SNW and LD writers clearly have an understanding and respect for canon and what it means to be a Starfleet crew.

Try SNW, it’s *really good* Trek.

And if you like Anson Mount as Pike (and how could you not?), you *might* go back to give Disco Season 2 a try… The rest of Disco is rubbish to me, but Pike almost makes it worth suffering through. Heh.

Boimler and Mariner in LIVE FREAKIN ACTION! I hope we can all appreciate the Star Trek renaissance we’re currently in because it is wonderful : )

  7. David Williams says:

“Live long and prosper, Mister Boimler.”
    I can’t wait!

  8. Tulane Gargoyle says:

All you out there who have experienced something similar to Spock at 1:10, please raise your hand.

    • Fae Velocity says:

It’s a bastardization of Spock. The way they have him acting at 1:12 is just not in character at all and is like some kind of comedy or parody….

    • BigNoseDoggie says:

@Fae Velocity you’re seeing it in context. It could be like last season’s episode Spock was part of a children’s tale or possessed by someone else’s mind.

    • Nick Dennison says:

@Fae Velocityit’s a trailer it’s not supposed to have context. Let Spock be Spock he’s probably under some drug or magic maguffin judging by the outfit

    • The Geezer Geek says:

If Jess Bush’s Chapel was kissing me like that I would be doing the Spock punching move afterwards too !!

    • Mik Moen says:

      *hand firmly lowered*

  9. Anthony Groeblinghoff says:

Yes!!! The two best modern Treks are crossing over!

  10. Phillipe St. Leger says:

Wow! That is how you put a trailer together! So excited for Season 2!
