if you pause it at certain points it looks like a painting. the animators are absolutely crushing it i don’t even know how they keep getting better

  2. Earthblood Elf says:

I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW HYPED I AM FOR THIS, I ADORED THE FIRST SEASON

  3. Freedom Star says:

The fact alone that those Jedi younglings from the Clone Wars are alive will make this even more of a hit than originally intended.

This is deffo something to look forward to in the new year. It’s cool to see the group return with updated armour and I’m excited to see the return of Cody as we’ve all been wondering what happened to him since the end of the Clone Wars! And it’s also cool to see Rex again too. I feel this season we’ll see more of Echo and Tech as I feel Echo had less character development in the first season and it looks like Tech will have more to do this season, which I hope for; he’s also my favourite member. Plus, I still have high hopes for Crosshair!

Seeing Cody and palpatine is gonna be really cool.
Let’s hope this follows the animated series trend where the shows get better as each season goes along

  6. Chase Hervey says:

Cody is “Good Soldier’s follow orders” incarnate. He and Rex need a series in which the two are pitted against each other. I’d love to see him develop in the Empire.

    • Hayden Fowle says:

@Fordo I want Cody to sacrifice himself for Rex and Clone Force 99 with Rex saddened he had to bury another Brother

    • Hayden Fowle says:

@Christoper Fleming it would be Anakin vs Obi Wan in reverse Form with Cody (Obi Wans Commander) remain loyal To The Empire Rex (Anakin’s Commander) left the Empire

    • Fordo says:

im torn when it comes to cody, he embodies everything the empire wants in their soldiers, which is why i think it would hit so hard if he defected or ended up sacrificing himself for the bad batch or someone else

    • Chase Hervey says:

@Christoper Fleming The empire started standardizing stormtrooper/clone armor after order 66; this means Cody as well has lost the orange coloring of the 212th. I assume the grey in certain parts where the orange used to be still symbolizes his placement as he achieved the highest rank of any clone. So, it’s still colored just in a more muted-imperial tone.

    • Christoper Fleming says:

      What’s with the new armor?

  7. Edmund Arnold says:

No one really talks about this show but it has been an absolute blast. Can’t wait for the second season.

  8. Blap says:

Seeing Cody after episode 3 is something I have wanted for over a decade. I cannot wait

  9. Obi Juan says:

Really looking forward to see how Dave develops Omega this season. She has the potential to be one of SW’s most interesting characters. Especially if she ends up being Force sensitive like ScreenCrush suggests!

    • Obi Juan says:

@ciaran Dodrill I don’t know about that. For Rebels and Clone Wars Dave only wrote a relatively small percentage of the episodes, while he was still obviously the main engine for the overall story. More importantly than being the Executive Producer of The Bad Batch, Dave is also the show’s Creator and Developer, not to mention his promotion last year to Disney’s Executive Creative Director.

He conceived of the Bad Batch many many years before they even appeared in Clone Wars season 7. His early Bad Batch sketches date back to 2014 and earlier.

In short, for all intents and purposes: yes, this is Dave’s show.

    • Ninya / Ninja Brifsanovich the Saiyan says:

@a person who may or may not exist Plus she’s a pure Clone, like her ‘brother’ Boba.

    • ciaran Dodrill says:

Dave isn’t a writer, he’s an executive producer, which means when he has time he looks at things and says “yeah that’s fine” and moves on, this show is not his compared to how rebels and clonewars is and never has been😂😂

    • a person who may or may not exist says:

I don’t think she’s force sensitive, but I do think she has a special enhancement like all the others. It seems like season 1 was implying that, like the rest of Clone Force 99, she has an upgrade over the normal clones, and I think that hers is strategy. Think Ender from Ender’s game, a genius at tactics, intuition, and adaptability. See how quickly she picked up the chess-like game in season 1, how she often helped make plans, and I have a feeling once she grows up a bit more, she’ll be a formidable tactical genius.

    • Kill Scribe says:

i agree with this! except the force sensitive part, i feel like Omega can be an interesting enough character on her own without needing the force!

  10. Mr impressions says:

This looks like a massive step up from the first season, I’m really excited to see Cody after Revenge of the sith and how he’s dealing with the empire and I’m mostly excited to see Rex once again.
Also did anyone else notice that Hunter was in Dooku’s lair from the clone wars?
