Starlink Mission

On Tuesday, August 9 at 10:14 p.m. ET, SpaceX launched 52 Starlink satellites from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

This was the third flight for the Falcon 9 first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched SES-22 and now two Starlink missions.

It’s been such an impressive day at SpaceX. The first static fires for Booster 7 and Ship 24 over at Starbase, and then right after we have another Falcon 9 launch!

Absolutely agree. My fave part of these launches, for sure. Still amazes the hell out of me that they can land on an object floating around in the ocean.

I’ll never get tired of seeing the first stage booster land. It amazes me each and every time like it’s the first time ever seeing it.

This unusually humid night we are having here on the Space Coast produce a beautiful shock donut as F9 passed Mach 1, T+1:08. Very cool show tonight!

    • Raphaël Daigle says:

It did nothing at Mach 1. If you check the speed he said supersonic late because the signal of the rocket and the announcer is always delayed. It’s only big clouds getting annihilated from the extreme heat.

First launch I’ve watched in quite a while. Looks like the 1st stage re-enters more quickly now, no? Its impressive!

I love and how routine this has become for SpaceX. Launch to deploy in around 20 minutes is just mind-blowing.
