Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family — and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves — Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!”

this is your sell out, I keep hearing how mettalica was a sell out, maybe,
yet their selling out did not contrive with foriegn interest to promote a
one world gov that would , just by being, disolve this countries remaining
constitution, and with it any chance at a once again sovereign state, this
should be important to any that believe you can be anything you can
imagine, that will not happen after this country is absorbed into a one
world goverment, if there are any doubts, you should check the available
infomation on world history; to note, the roman empire, the greeks, the
    persian empire

Sadly we are heading there with Trump. We will be the next Britian if he

Calling us all idiots, and he didn’t even address the fact that Scotland
and Northern Ireland majority voted to remain in the EU and will now most
likely seek independence from the UK to stay within it? Generalising the
entire UK as being English and not even acknowledging the other 3 countries

It was a 52% over 48% vote with the 2% difference in majority comprising of
approx. 6000 people, so I’ve heard. That’s like, a village. A study into
the vote also showed that that “village” populace with the deciding vote
was essentially made up of the “less informed” public. I assure you that
the British aren’t ALL complete buffoons, in defense, it was just
unfortunate that the rational half lost this time — by a marginal degree,
I might add — and for the worse, regrettably.

He jokes about the peanut allergy one, but that’s legitimately how we
confirmed I’d lost it. Under medical supervision in a hospital waiting
room, I gradually inhaled a bunch of peanuts.

Yes, it’s funny when you say it aloud, but we were banking on the idea that
I wouldn’t suddenly collapse suffocating from my own constricting throat as
my own body tried to murder me.

To be frank, I wasn’t really missing much.

Nationalism is getting as bad as Islamaphobia…I guess ISIS and other
terror groups are celebrating these turn of events where they already won
their war for fear and having countries close up their borders just to feel
”safe” when in-fact it won’t help anything but only make things worse and
people more paranoid, hateful and fearful.

Welcome back to the Cold-War era. I would take ‘Globalism’ over Nationalism
anyday. At least one won’t go ” My country is better therefore I am
superior than you ” attitude all over the world which caused COUNTLESS

I feel bad for the young generation who wanted to stay but now have to
SUFFER the consiquences of the Old Guard and their out-dated thinking that
simply won’t work in the modern world. And yes, Democracy includes calling
stupid decisions that condemn half of the nation , well STUPID. And I hope
Scotland gets its 2nd referendum because they were so close to leaving but
got enticed back, thinking UK would make smarter choices but now… only 2
years passed and they already proved otherwise so Scotland has every-right
to go ” Oh I didn’t agree to think BS and I don’t want English to bring
down our people with them ” and demand a 2nd referendum.

The whole, the people are making bad things happen idea, fucking perfect,
Brexit happened because of our stupid ideals, really? You mean the campaign
that promised to ensure a better economic future for Britains because of
the already completely oppressive global economy? But no, it’s the PEOPLE’S
fault for causing this because of their MORAL compass. LOL FUCK OFF COLBERT

  16. James Travers says:

wow…. It seems this will be faster. All you people who took offense to
this…. It was a fucking joke!! Here let me apply some balm. Americans
are stupid because we have left ourselves a choice between Corporate
Shillary and Dum Dum Trump. …. hmmm Maybe that
    one isn’t so funny…..

  17. zeroslash says:

This fucking planet is fucked. Britain leaving the EU, Trump becoming
president; by this point, we may as well have a new World War.

  18. IIRocket ScientistII says:

You just got to love that Evel Knievel mentality of the British. And
although is not nice to admit it is entertaining to see someone fall or
crash, we all know it is.BTW are you gonna be the next Germans? I thought
we Dutch are next in line. We have Geert Wilders that guy is even dyeing
his hair blonde, not fair. Farage only wearing green jackets and drinking
pints. I don’t think it’s fair you overtook the Dutch right wing. But well
you did. BTW nice to see those lads sing: We are not gonna give up to the
IRA (like really are those the days you want to have back again.. WOW!).
And knowing that without the dutch you ALL still would be Catholic instead
of Protestant (btw fuck off with that orange.. it’s our National colour) I
wish you all the best. BTW can someone make a list of UK products I can
boycott, preferable Welsh or English. I can’t find any products from UK but
they say we need them so much.. so maybe I’m overlooking some products.

  20. cdailey53 says:

Using google search trend stats to prove people regret voting to leave is
dishonest. There is no way to know which voters googled about leaving. In
fact if I had to guess, it sounds like something someone would search that
is worried about the vote outcome.
