I love how Kat doesn’t show the end doll in the thumbnail and the only way of knowing somewhat of the doll is the title. Makes me super hyped for the doll being made in video . Also I’m glad you love Anya’s/Kaypea’s work too, it’s so beautiful and unique ^^.

Her husband saying “Go Bambi” made me so unbelievably happy

  3. angiewu says:

that little “go bambi!” was so cute istg i never get tired of seeing wholesome supportive couples qwq

This is amazing!!!!! I remember when just slightly modifying the legs was a feat, and each experiment in modifications just gets better and better! It’s been an honor watching you and your channel grow!!!💖

  5. Gold Art says:

My mom legitimately has a wall of yarn, granted she crochets a lot, but still, we have a wall of yarn, 3 small moving boxes of yarn, and her yarn bag which has everything she needs lol

Once again, I adore your dedication to showing women of color, particularly black women, in fantasy, where they are often underrepresented. High fantasy, and fantasy in general, can often end up very… well… white! Which isn’t to say white people don’t belong in fantasy, but it leaves a large percentage of the human spectrum underappreciated. Thank you for your dedication to making fantasy colorful!

    • Ali The Grape says:

I agree! The thing i love about Catherine’s work is that she has so much diversity in her customs and she always had, not only does she portray people of color perfectly but also people with disabilities and even LGBTQ people. I love to see artists showi support and amazing rep of marginalized communities it truly means a lot

    • Amy Wallace says:

@Ali The Grape Agreed! As a queer person, her dedication to inclusion and celebration of all kinds of individuals makes me feel seen and appreciated, and it’s my favorite thing about her artwork her channel and her community. That and the pretty colors and Japanese street fashion, and sparkles! Sparkles forever! 😁

    • Amy Wallace says:

@Larissa Dawn …Clawdeen is undeniably black lmfao. Catherine made a character with brown skin and box braids which are a protective hair style from black culture. We live in a society were race is unfortunately an issue, what exactly is so wrong about bringing up the issue to thank Catherine for her subtle activism in her art?

    • YouTube Account says:

@꧁♥︎ ᔕᕼᖇOOᗰᐯIᒪᒪᗴ♥︎꧂ the shows you watch were probably made after around 2013. Or more than likely the protagonists and antagonists are white

    • Elena says:

When I make moodboards and stuff for my characters there’s loads of stuff to work with for white people but hardly anything for POC (especially with fantasy). You worded it so well and I hope that positive representation in media becomes more recognised (I’m not too sure if that’s the right word to use)

  7. Ruan van Tonder says:

I feel like, since she’s so clearly African in every other way, it would have been nice if you styled the bottom half after an African antelope. We have a rich wildlife kingdom there that you could have drawn inspiration from. Other than that, she’s perfect!!

    • Sheen Calamba says:

Holy moly that’s a really good concept I hope they make some thing like that in the future!

    • Sky Wolf says:

I actually felt something pretty similar. With the specific hairstyle she did and the concept of accessaries, it would have been cool to also have an African name that was just as whimsical as the fantasy theme she was going for.

    • Amelia Campbell says:

Maybe Tamera needs a sister with this design!!!

    Alias: Dollightful
    Ability: Life to creature-like objects
Description: Dollightful essentially has the ability of life, though it seems to be limited to near life-like objects and toys. This is usually used for bringing a new doll to life after making it. Subject has also been reported to have created versions of real people, as sort of “mini-me”s including the subject. Dollightful has also given life to various other creatures, ranging from barely human, to half human, to almost fully human. It seems that anything the subject brings to life stays the same size, which we are thankful for in the regard that there aren’t any more creatures running around. The most recent doll created seems to be a form of part art doll, part store-bought doll. It has been created in the form of a faun centaur from popular mythologies Dollightful named “Tamara Tinyhoof.”

“I’ll have to think of something to do with the poor thing.”
*Legless Clawdeen is lobbed unceremoniously into frame with loud thumping noise*
    I laughed so freaking hard.

  10. KaypeaCreations says:

*GASP* The end result is so magical and adorable I can barely contain myself! The braid hairstyle is what I aspire my hair to be, I love the trinkets! I had a good chuckle when you used cloth for the body but hey it totally worked! It looks like the inspiration is back in my court as a centaur is now a great need! I always thought of making a more horse one as one of my first tries at doll repaints since I could cheat and not have to make clothes haha 😆
