Kinda cool that Jericho, the guy who gave Cena his first big win, is paying tribute to him 20 years later. Love to see it.
@Linator4 uhhh no he’s not. Cenas picking WWE any day
@MSI – Stephanie was the one who noticed John doing his whole rap schtick. So she encouraged him to keep doing it because it was so entertaining. Jericho was the one however who convinced Vince and management to invest in Cena because there was something special there.
Jericho push talents, even now.
@Donyelle Taber tony gave the ok
and to use him as the thumbnail too
Got teary eyed when Cena gave his speech, so genuine and his works with the make a wish. The kids love the guy.
@Manwiththeplan sXe 2010-2012 cena be like: Are you sure about that? 😅
The kids The ones who saved his career and now the most overrated of all time 👏🏾
@Manwiththeplan sXe But… Hogan was my hero he told me to get my vitamins
@Jeremy Carrera Evidence? Lmao
Love Him or Hate Him, John Cena deserves everything for all he has done to make all of us happy and love wrestling. I wouldn’t have been much of a wrestling fan if it wasn’t for legends like him, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, The Rock, Triple H, and so on. Thank you so much John for making us all cherish our childhood and until today.
I quit watching because of Cena and started watching again when he left. It wasn’t him, it was the company never making him lose. AKA SUPER CENA.
@Kendon Bailey Agreed.
Facts
As a wrestling fan it’s so cool to see a full circle of John Cena having intense rivals and intense in ring opponents to now having them speak so fondly of him. I know it’s scripted but being invested so long it feels so real
Boo him or cheer him, never in 20 years did I watch a John Cena match and not feel like he gave 200%. Thank you John for being a bright spot in some truly terrible times in not only the wrestling world but the real world as well.
@Point of bread His involvement that fued was at the end of the day detrimental to the faction. But he still had a pretty decent match with Barret.
Him vs the Nexus
John Cena has always been the best
I was just out of High School when John entered the WWE. I didn’t know what to think about him when I first saw him, but as I continued watching him, I just felt a connection with him. I mean, here’s this blue-collar street guy, who’s not your average, muscle-bound freak, and he’s on TV wrestling in a multi-million dollar wrestling company. He started off making me laugh with that rapper gimmick, then, he started using the words “Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect,” and I thought, “I wonder what would happen, if I wanted to use those words in my daily life.” Let’s just say that I’m glad I did that. Congrats on 20 years in the WWE John, and here’s to many more!
Its so greatful to see some former WWE superstars who’s in a rival company being included in times like this
@Kenny They’ve beaten ratings for smackdown a few times but that’s it. Wwe isn’t threatened by them yet.
@Kenny But lovers.
Not rival company
It’s crazy to think Jericho probably recorded that last night after his amazing match, nice to see him on WWE TV again, hoping for a return down the line!!
@MJL 11 AEW has plans for Jericho… the JAS, which is obviously getting those people noticed/building them up into stars…. he’s still fueding with Eddie and potentially Blackpool Combat Club… just because he isn’t in the title picture, doesn’t mean he isn’t doing anything….
@King Jezza lets be honest AEW doesnt have any plans with the guy. Maybe WWE can propose a trade just like in the nba where they give some nxt guys and we get Jericho
@King Jezza money in the bank too. Oh wait nvm… he won the 6th one in Appleton
@King Jezza thats why i think he should come back when he’s ready to retire or be in the hall of fame
and what would he accomplish ?? The only thing he hasn’t done in WWE is win the Rumble.. and I guess King of the Ring, if that’s even still something….
When they started showing Chris Jericho’s tribute the entire crowd went nuts lmaoo
From a ‘Ruthless Agression’ to ‘The Cenation Leader’.Happy 20 years anniversary of the GOAT
@The REAL GOAT Na Austin is. Cena stuck with and carried the company for 15 years.
@MALONE The Rock is better all around wrestler
@Richard G no taker is the greatest of all time
@MoeCamera Big Facts
@Alphonse Maina Cena is super overrated
