This has to be the most anticipated and best season ever.

    Countdown: 10 days

Side note: SO excited!!! This season is gonna be a blast, I can’t believe it’s already been six years since the first season was released… super pumped!

Edit: MAMA HOW DID THIS GET 300+ LIKES IN ONE HOUR?

  3. מור צבע says:

Love how they embraced the hype around “running up that hill” and basically made it the theme song of the season

The soundtrack alone throughout this show has been arguably the best ever!

    Brenner saying
“You’re not ready” to Eleven in my opinion indicates that Vecna would be too strong for her. Since there is a season 5 coming out, those three words indicate that Eleven would probably need further training or something. It’s just my opinion.

So glad they dropped this in two parts. The wait has made it even more thrilling to watch. It looks epic.

If anyone is curious, there are a TON of throwbacks to season 1 in season 4. Many are very obvious (e.g. Eleven starting over), but others are small, very specific things which I love. Here are a couple that I’ve noticed:
    1. Benny Hammond /Benny’s is brought up for the first time since Eleven first went there after escaping Hawkins Lab.
    2. Lucas mentions that Eleven might be from Pennhurst when the gang first finds here, the only time that the mental hospital is mentioned until season 4
    3. Robin finds and remarks on Nancy’s music box, the same one Eleven is shown looking at when she’s home alone at the Wheeler’s.

    • June Mck. says:

And the flashcards in Nancy’s room! When I first saw those in her hands I was like. . . wait, are those. . .

My suspicions were confirmed just a few moments later. I just wish Steve had been in the room with her to see if he remembered them, too, and perhaps have a couple lines of reminescing.

I started re watching season 1 while we wait for vol 2 and I noticed when Eleven is showing/explaining the guys the upside down in ep 2 she uses the D&D board and flips it over and the first piece she uses to show them the main guy is the same piece that the hellfire club uses in season 4 ep 1 to show Vectna…if they really planned that out that would be pretty awesome

An Emmy nom for Sadie’s phenomenal work! She perfectly conveyed the feeling of mourning someone in silence. I’ll start a riot if she doesn’t get it.

    • DaNeonate says:

@TheCrispyDuck I agree completely, giancarlo Esposito (stan Edgar) is also another great person to nominate. He plays the crap out of the bad guy role.

    • TheCrispyDuck says:

Her and Anthony Starr ( Homelander) both deserve it

I’ve never been so scared in my life. This is the one show where I genuinely don’t want any of the main cast to go. Especially Steve and Will because for those two it would kind of make sense and their deaths would impact the group heavily. But everyone else too, I can’t lose them, I’m not ready
