Taylor Swift Is Suing A Radio Host for Allegedly Groping Her
Yesterday, Taylor Swift filed a lawsuit against a radio host who allegedly groped her during a meet-and-greet in 2013. Taylor immediately alerted her tour manager and security team that the host slid his hand up her skirt, and as a result, radio personality David Mueller was fired from his job and banned from attending her concerts. Last month, Mueller retaliated with a suit that claims Swift falsely accused him of groping her. Taylor’s countersuit reveals new details about the incident.
In court documents obtained by People, Taylor reports that he “intentionally reached under her skirt, and groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will, and without her permission.” The report continues: “Mueller did not merely brush his hand against Ms. Swift while posing for the photograph, he lifted her skirt and groped her.” As a result, Taylor is demanding a trial by jury with any money she wins from the case to go to “charitable organizations dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard.” This is why you don’t mess with Taylor Swift.
