I actually love the idea of actually seeing them as Younger Teenagers. Usually they’re obviously around like 16-19 year olds personality wise but these guys feel like they are fresh out of 6th grade.

    • Manuel Orozco says:

I’m 30 but have the mentality of a teenager

    • Teague says:

Editing this so one billion people don’t reply like tHaTs NoT tRuE, originally the comment was phrased in an odd way that made it seem negative which is why I said what I said. It’s been edited now so my original reply no longer matters.

    • OwlfaceNightkit says:

Well I mean in Rise they started off as 15, 14, and 13
But they definitely didn’t sound like it

    • Jay says:

Question: am I the only one who who like to see the mystic powers in Rise be incorporated into future movies

    • Teague says:

@Dan-Gaming573 they edited it, originally the comment was more negative

  2. Crazy Imaginations says:

That “sorry dad” from Mikey was a great touch, i love it when splinter is shown more of a father to them than just a sensei

    • Bryon Youngblood says:

Yeah, I like that too, like the times Leo called Splinter “Dad” in the 2014 movie, 😊

    • K!t says:

I always wanted them to have a more fun relationship with Splinter. I was tired of the same teacher student thing(not that it’s bad but they deserve a more fleshed out bond)

    • Crazy Imaginations says:

      @K!t valid point

    • Rory Sainsbury says:

Yeah, I really liked seeing Splinter bond with Mikey and share a fatherly moment with him, as compared to the other turtles, Splinter interacts with Mikey the least and hardly shares that much moments with him (especially in the 2012 series, where there was rare moments between Splinter and Mikey bonding). Which is sad because Mikey’s my favorite character in the franchise.

    • Crazy Imaginations says:

@Rory Sainsbury wrd 2 only time I could think of is when splinter was demonstrating to Donnie how Mikey fights without thinking

  3. Tuomas Pöllä says:

This looks absolutely amazing! The turtles being voiced by the teenagers and acting like the teenagers with the big dreams (Highschool, girlfriend and so on) of their own and seek to be accepted makes this movie even more exciting to watch.

  4. LittleGlove says:

Cant wait to see angry Raphael on big screen !!! #Hyped ❤❤

  5. Estevan Garcia says:

    “You ratted us out!”
“Don’t use that word that way!!”
    “Sorry, dad.”
I love this movie already 😭

  6. RASIM TURABOV🔥 says:

I love how TMNT is timeless. No matter what you do with those turtles. It never gets old. it’s always exciting

  7. DOOM Studios says:

Jackie Chan playing as Splinter is probably the best casting for this movie.

    • M0RDred says:

@Rob Pollock True but most of the actors who played Splinter weren’t Japanese either, including the live-action versions

    • Erich Fiedler says:

@Rob Pollock so what? John Cho played Hikaru Sulu in the Kelvin Timeline Star Trek movies, and not even George Takei questioned it, plus Hoon Lee and Eric Bauza (the previous two Splinter’s in animation) aren’t of Japanese descent either and they still did a great job portraying him in two different of the Turtles’ dad

    • Sean Foo CH says:

      FRRR

    • Aaron Dawgzilla says:

Jackie Chan is a legend dude!

  8. luke mcmahon says:

I think this version of Ralph is gonna be my new favourite iteration. The dudes clearly a hot head, but also cares about his family. All and all, it feels like a way more grounded version of the team. Can’t wait.

  9. L.A. Gator says:

The cast, the plot, the characters, the animation, and the humor. Definitely gonna be one of the best movies to come out this year.

  10. Isagi Yoichi says:

It’s crazy how we are living in somehow like a golden era for animation industry. The quality of animated movies these days are more unique and animators are trying different things to give new flavors to it. I love it!
