I think I remember playing a demo disk of Tekken 2 that let you select 3 characters from the front of a playstation review magazine. Then shortly after getting on my radar Tekken 3 came out and I actually became yoshimitsu.
@Hans Rickam On the demo disc? Jun and Lei. Not Lee.
I think we all came yoshimitsu or as I pronounced it, Mitsubishi
I never knew how to play Yoshi but he’s cool as fk
Only jun and lee?
@AxxL wh-what about me!?
Dunk can make you feel something special for a game from 1995 and I love every second of it.
You can almost see Dunky’s happy innocent childhood 😇
@Backup This type of comment depresses me. The kind of depression you get upon learning the orphanage is running out of money, so you start drinking heavily to cope.
age determines a game’s quality?
Nah, I get it. It’s like posing or being a faker, if you’re reading into things it’s like this guy values theoretically thinking about how other people like things rather than developing his own taste.
Not that much of a reach if even I can see it.
Glad Dunkey gives this game’s soundtracks the praise it deserves, the music was truly ahead of its time
Yeah, it wasn’t ahead of its time. This was the nineties.
Don’t read My name..
Not really, so much of the PS1 era of music was _this_ level of good.
dunkey always makes me nostalgic
Dubkey is a Tekken review channel now.
Can’t wait to see Tekken 3🔥
This game changed my life. I played it when I was 8 and it made me join martial arts, I was poor so I cleaned shop windows, mowed lawns and scooped poop to pay for lessons, my sensei saw this and mentored me in life (he was a Yale graduate and a forensic psychologist for the district attourney’s office). I am now 32 and a success financially, physically and mentally despite being a fatherless dropuout in large part due to Tekken.
That last sentence can be interpreted as Tekken driving away your father and forcing you out of highschool lol.
I have very fond memories of Tekken 2. It’s the first game I played with my dad (who is not a gamer at all) back when I was around 7 years old. I’m 31 now and to this day we occasionally plan an evening to play Tekken and have some beers. We’re up to Tekken 7 by now and still going. He hasn’t played a single video game apart from Tekken in all these years. Bless him.
This is what could have healed Kazuya and Heihachi’s fractured relationship.
@Josh you’re welcome my friend.
@Jacob I asked him. He said he’d check his work schedule.
Thank you BiggusNickus
Ah nothing quite like the game dad plays with ya.
I love when dunkey hits us with the new cutting edge games that we’ve all been anticipating a review for before we can play, thank you dunkey
Always happy to see indie games like Kessen find notoriety on your channel, dunk.
Kuma may just be the most well designed character of all time. Truly a better protagonist than those who call “Mario” a true character of depth
ok scam lol
Who the fuck is that youtuber?
