CORRECTION! The K900 is only offered this year with a turbocharged V6, with no V8 option. Big thanks to C&D and Motor Trend for getting this wrong. Last time I rely on them for info!

  2. jason starek says:

The K900 has a Maurice Lacroix clock, how completely appropriate. The Merc AMG has an IWC.

    • are ethhfd says:

      IWC is garbage…

    • BMWMcMerc Face says:

are ethhfd out of curiosity, if IWC is garbage, who, in your opinion, makes quality time pieces?

Full disclosure I love IWCs and think they make lovely watches.

    • Jaewoo Jo says:

have you seen prices of an amg?

    • BMWMcMerc Face says:

Jaewoo Jo sure… they are expensive, luxurious, fast brutes made for people who want performance with deep pockets. They sell well because there is a market for cars at that price that are seriously fast and seriously comfortable. I think AMG’s are damn fine cars that have gotten absurdly good performance wise. C63, E63, are two of the very best luxury performance sedans and they are priced competitively with competition (M3, RS5, M5, RS7)Hell the new AMG GTs are the IMO the first cars to seriously challenge Porsche’s segment (100-200k luxury performance cars, 911/panamera), and many have tried. IWC fits nicely for what they are.

  4. History Reimagined says:

I actually saw 3 K900s yesterday. The Telluride is also one of the most beautiful new SUVs.

I think that Kia should advertise the K900. No one knows about this car and I think more people would buy it if they knew about it..

  5. Kevin Am says:

now that u reviewed it, I think more people are going to buy it. lol

  6. zd trn says:

Yo Doug the V6 in the K900 makes 365 hp, not 311 hp, that power was made from the old k900s V6

  7. Mr Olympia Classic physique 2020 says:

Doug the type of guy to report nudity on pornhub.

  8. S Q says:

Sorry but every time I here the name k900 it sounds like the robotic dog. Def one of the worst names on a car. They should have picked the name KIA Opulence or something else.

  9. Aaron says:

Doug has done more to advertise this car than Kia has.

  10. chrisgaj2 says:

This car sounds so great yet he still takes digs at them because they are made by “Kia” . They told him 5 year warranty and 10 years on the other thing, that’s a major selling point. This car sounds great but people hate on it.

    • OSTKCabal says:

+MTEK You make a perfectly fair point there. One of the salespeople at our local Kia dealership is named Bill… and he insists on being called “Dollar Bill”. That dealership is only just now starting to change for the better now that they realize Kia is moving upmarket. It’ll take time.

    • Mr. Hicks says:

I love this car! I agree, they SHOULD advertise it.

    • G0ddEity says:

Kia needs to understand that most people who buy these saloons use it to do business. A kia is not gonna impress anyone to want to do business with you lol

    • Juan Zingarello says:

I’m gonna say the same thing to those haters (most of them are German car fanboys) that they say to me when I bash German over-engineered unreliable money pits. If you haven’t owned or driven one to base that opinion on actual experience, your opinion has been deemed irrelevant.

    • Juan Zingarello says:

+G0ddEity What you and others need to understand is the purpose of this car. The K900 was never meant to compete with more popular luxury brands. That is what Genesis is for. This is a car purely intended to raise perception about Kias. Nothing more. Kia knows it will sell only a few and they intend to keep it that way. It’s pretty much a halo car much like to a higher degree the NSX and Viper were for their own brands. People who buy this car are in a niche category that don’t care about badge snobbery or attention and just want a quality luxury automobile. Also, you wanna say people don’t take Kias seriously these days? I have a co-worker with a Stinger. And he gets approached by BMW owners all the time and gets asked about it. Simply put, the Koreans don’t f@#$ around.

  11. gunit 010 says:

Wait …. am I seriously considering buying this car ? Doug what have you done to me

  12. Coke Official says:

You can see how much he want to hate the car, bit he cant becouse car is too good.?

    • Erik Sørensen says:

Pretty sure he can’t because hes borrowing it from a dealership. No other dealership will contact him, if he roasts the cars

    • vinstinct says:

I’ve seen him give negative reviews on dealership cars.. or at least less favorable. I don’t think he wants to hate this car though.

  13. Midhun #007 says:

Looks like the Kia hearing their customers more than any other auto makers.
That turn indicator cam is just wow!! ? Also the interior is plush and modern. Infotainment system is superior and user friendly. I think Kia will make headache to the other luxury brands soon!! ❤️?

  14. Jose Kercado says:

This is what I would buy if I was in the market for a luxury car. Solid, handsome, all the cool stuff, for a low price. I don’t give a shit about brand.

    • skbuoy says:

      Jose Kercado yeah right

    • BMWMcMerc Face says:

I’m fairly surprised at your opinion of the E class. I just had a ‘19 E class for a long weekend because my car was in the shop and I wanted to get a feel for it. I found it to be an extremely nice place to be, wonderful ride quality, the new MB driver interface is intuitive and sophisticated, certainly near the top of the market in screen quality. I haven’t driven the K900 but I’ve been in one and I’d say just given the touch test that the E class is made with materials a grade above the Kia. Just nicer leather, nicer trim pieces, higher quality buttons, etc. And that ride. Just floating down the road, haven’t driven the Kia but I’d be shocked if the ride quality is on par with the new E. I was really very impressed by it, better even than the new 5 series which I’ve also driven extensively and that is a lovely car in every way. I like these bargain luxury SUVs and I’m particularly impressed by the features but from my experience the difference comes in material quality. Just one guys opinion though. One thing is for sure, if you want damn near all the new tech/luxury features and you don’t want to pay thousands for merc/bmw options, the Kia or Hyundai are the way to go.

    • Stanimir Ivanov says:

+BMWMcMerc FaceI had a ride in a 2018 BMW 760 m performance. Looks better than KIA, but almost double the price. But let’s be real, German quality is the standard on the market.

    • Captain planet says:

You are easily persuaded my friend.

  15. ITUBE says:

Doug listening to “A Lot” (14:07): How many quirks it got? A lot

  16. The Adan Channel says:

I most recon Korean manufacturers are offering interesting products and even more important diverse, in style and proposal, meanwhile all other brands are offering the same design in different sizes from city car to full size SUV

  17. ELLIPSIS says:

Few people understand the point of this car and the Stinger. They were never ever designed to be sold in huge numbers. They exist to lift the brand image of Kia in general. It’s to show people they capable of building more than just budget cars.

    • John Holst says:

Ellipsis….Actually, you’re right, in that that is their intention for the US market. It’s just to show what Kia can do. But overseas, this car sells VERY well, and that’s why it was redesigned.

  18. Ganbala says:

  19. Sheldon Gunby says:

12:13 Maybe the Interior Sound Deadening mics? Not sure 😮

  20. Jaideep Bura says:

I think all KIA needs to do is remodel their logo for their luxury cars – The current logo just looks cheap.
