“The Bob’s Burgers Movie” is an animated, big-screen, musical comedy-mystery-adventure based on the long-running Emmy®-winning series. The story begins when a ruptured water main creates an enormous sinkhole right in front of Bob’s Burgers, blocking the entrance indefinitely and ruining the Belchers’ plans for a successful summer. While Bob and Linda struggle to keep the business afloat, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family’s restaurant. As the dangers mount, these underdogs help each other find hope and fight to get back behind the counter, where they belong.

I know what you mean. It reminds me of The Simpons Movie reveal where it’s set to an epic choir which was the ‘epic trailer’ style at the time. Now it’s pop songs of yesteryears set to stings (I think it’s fine). I wonder what tomorrow’s style will be.

90sRapFan / Thats probably because The Simpsons Movie and this movie have the same animation style! I love it when normal cartoons make a movie and it has that affect to it that’s different from the original episodes. They show different angles, focus on the lighting of the scene, and the characters appear more fluid. You don’t see that in a normal episode.
I feel like 2D animation is slowly making it’s way back to theaters. Honestly, Can’t wait to see what this movie has in store. 😀

@Jonathan Gaeta let’s not forget klaus and Wolfwalkers, while not wide theatrical releases they were still massive hits critically and for the streamers they were on and both got Oscar nominations. Slowly but surely their has been a 2d revival

I love to see the step up in animation when a show becomes a movie. This looks so clean oh my god!

Bob’s burgers is built on wholesome family interactions. It may not be the best thing ever or the most grand but we definitely do need it in our current time

This show meant so much to me when I was in high school. It was one of the things that helped me out when I was depressed out of my mind, and now it’s finally getting a movie after so long! Words cannot describe how happy I am that I can clarify this as a real thing now!
