It seems like this movie has really captured the essence of what it’s like to be a little kid being terrified of what could be lurking in the darkness, and I’m digging it!
I would have never, ever looked under the bed, though. Never.
Being a alone in the dark is scary as heck.
👍👍👍👍. It’s absolutely terrifying and chilling
“Monsters are real, they live inside us and sometimes they win.” -Stephen King.
My girlfriend use to call me a monster…. then on june 1st 2017 she went missing in vietnam on her travels and has never been seen since… so im guessing a real monster took her
“Money!” – Mister Krabs
No more mr. nice guy
i heard it GOT a theatrical release instead of releasing it on HULU, because of Strong/Scary test screenings
The Boogeyman is real & he’s gonna get you!
I’m seeing how more and more of Stephen kings short stories are being adapted and personally i dig it
Night shift?
।
I think I have read Graveyard Shift over a dozen times. They are all good, but that one just gives me the creeps.
This looks so good! It has the bit of childhood nostalgia of having the fear of monsters. I can’t wait to see it!
The short story was amazing the movie will probably be really good
Childhood Nostalgia of having a fear of monsters? Having a monster under my bed is one of my irrational fears…I don’t let my feet get near the space between the bed and the floor when it’s dark in my room. I’ve had this conversation with a child before.
Kid: There’s no such thing as monsters! There’s nothing under your bed expect the ground!
Me: Prove it…what if they’re only seen when they want to be seen?
Kid: Like in Monsters Inc?
Me: Yeah, sure…only under the bed instead.
Kid: Then it’s a good monster.
Me: What if it’s not?
Kid: …
Me: …
Kid: You’re weird.
This movie looks really good and the cast is 10/10

Kinda wished it was a serial killer who went after kids thoe that would’ve been predictable but disturbing
Seeing the teaser while watching football and immediately going on yt to see the full trailer. Really excited to see it
love it
please let this be as good as I want it to be.
Looks like Stephen King has done it again, can’t wait to see it.
@Matan Vilensky the IT movies are great. Could the ending to chapter 2 be better yes but overall the movie was great
@Matan Vilensky 👍👍👍👍
@JImbo Usually when King has something to do with the adaption it ends up bad. (Just the big steep in decline between Part 1 and 2 of the new IT)
The movie looks to be very, very loosely based on his short story. Could still be good though.
he had nothing to do with the movie just the book
stephen king never disappoints
Except when it comes to the endings
1922 was a very good SK adaptation. It was so well done
@Vagelis Stefanopoulos 👍👍👍👍. For every 1922(2017), there’s a Sleepwalker(1992) or Langoliers
Cough dark tower cough
Correction: His books never disappoint! Their adaptation into movies though sometimes can be vile!
This is such a great short story! So excited to see it made into a movie from the creators of Stranger Things.
@janderson947 no the dad got killed in that movie from long ago in 2005 lol
@RadarTechnicianBob they did an adaptation back in 2005
if i recall the short story…it was one of the best endings he’s done. the…utter fear and defeat of the dad. whooooooo – the trailer already gives me goosebumps
I loved the short story but I have a feeling this movie will loosely follow it, but for what it is it looks really really good.
The trailer had nothing from the short story but the boogeyman and a dad. Still looks creepy though
I’m trying to remember if I’d have screamed and I am 90% certain that the closet door banging open like that would have turned me into a banshee.
