Temuera Morrison is living his life. His face expressions are everything

    • Ben Oh says:

I’m glad his expressions are everything bc his line delivery is terrible 💀

I mean, we’re all…”living our lives”. Otherwise you are indeed not reading these words. And I’m not typing them.

      “Internet speak”….ugh.

    • McNulty's Sober Companion says:

@Ben Oh In my opinion, Morrison’s a VERY lucky actor. If he hadn’t played what was essentially the bit part of Jango in the prequels, there’s no way he would otherwise right now be headlining his own series on Disney Plus.

There’s countless actors who would sell the titanium out of their grandmother’s hips for that opportunity. Actors with, as you point out, *significantly* more talent.

      Very, very lucky actor.

I want to see the book of Boba Fett in the hope that there’ll be a part where he explains (in a flashback) how he survived because Disney has a nat for changing stuff to the point where it’s vastly different from what was originally seen in the old movies and read in the original novels

    • Alexander Hapuku says:

Bobas survival can be found in the Star Wars Novel “Tales from Jabbas Palace” published in 1996.

    • Reddington says:

@Alexander Hapuku Actually it was The Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy of novels. Tales From Jabba’s Palace was a bunch of short stories.

    • Captain Future Show says:

A story is true. A story is untrue. As time extends it matters less and less. The stories we want to believe – those are the ones that survive, despite upheaval and transition and progress. Those are the stories that shape history. And then what does it matter if it was true when it was born?

And then what does it matter if it was true when it was born? It’s found truth in its maturity, which if a virtue in man ought to be no less so for the things men create…

Long John Silver’s story is a hard one to know. The men who believed most deeply in it were ultimately destroyed by it. And those who stood to benefit most from it were the most eager to leave it all behind.

Until all that remains of any of it are stories bearing only a passing resemblance to the world the rest of us lived in. A world we survived. A world that is no more.

    • Andrew Meyer says:

@The DarkestLight I’m not going to argue for or against the Kathleen Kennedy stuff, but it wouldn’t be too hard to believe that after the fan backlash from Ep7-9 she was told by Disney to take a step back or something. All I’m implying is she could have taken a step back from the creation process of the shows or is maybe only interested in being that involved when it’s a movie
