The Flash 3×17 “Duet” Season 3 Episode 17 Sneak Peek – DARREN CRISS (“GLEE”) GUEST STARS AS THE MUSIC MEISTER IN THE FLASH AND SUPERGIRL MUSICAL CROSSOVER – Barry (Grant Gustin) and team are surprised when Mon-El (guest star Chris Wood) and Hank Henshaw (guest star David Harewood) arrive on their Earth carrying a comatose Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist) who was whammied by the Music Meister (guest star Darren Criss). Unable to wake her up, they turn to Team Flash to save her. However, the Music Meister surprises The Flash and puts him in a similar coma, one that Team Flash can’t cure. Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#317). Original airdate 3/21/2017. 2. Prometheus says:

Compare this to the next Arrow episode, pretty much how the two seasons have gone.

  3. AdamJensen2011 says:

Well I will be skipping this ?

  4. Lego Ghost Rider says:

I’m so excited for this crossover. I can’t wait to see what Music Meister does with Barry and Kara when they’re under his spell. ⚡

Edit: All the “musicals f**king suck, I’m skipping this sh*t” and the “Iris West isn’t involved, she’s a living god on this show, I’m skipping this crap” people need to shut up.

First off, musicals are perfectly fine. This episode is most likely inspired by Glee (because Grant and Melissa starred on the show). They can both sing and dance. Also, Music Meister is the villain in this episode. Don’t know who he is? Go watch Batman Brave and the Bold, he is pretty dang awesome. You haters are just jealous because you either can’t sing or dance.

Second off, the world doesn’t revolve around Iris West. The shows are called _The Flash_ and _Supergirl,_ not Iris West: Queen of Everything. You WestAllen shippers are cancer. All you care about is their relationship and not the threats going on in the show(s). The relationship is overrated and it won’t last long. Be expecting SnowBarry soon.

In short, those are just stupid reasons to skip an episode. Get a life people.

“I’m actually not supposed to do that anymore” Wow I’m actually glad he knows that now!???

  6. SterolineBamon&GleggieSnowbarry says:

Haven’t watched The Flash lately… and this episode is a prime example of why. ?

  7. King 7 says:

Their relationship is nearly as good as Snowbarry
But definetely still 1000 times better than Westallen
    I still can’t get over this…
    Iris is so useless ???

  8. xXFaMeXx says:

i don’t understand why people are going to skip it , so what if it’s nothing but singing. if you really liked the show you would watch it regardless of what it is.

  9. Edil Abdi Omar says:

umm, is Iris West in this? If not, I can just skip this entirely..

  10. ProfessorZoom says:

  11. Jared Block says:

I’m very excited for this episode. it’s such a comic booky thing to do

  12. ProfessorZoom says:

Is this the flash or high school musical? Fuck me im skipping this dumb shit

  13. Spiderninja1 says:

This is the first time where the flash fandom has been split in half for this musical

  14. Dr. Savitar says:

what happened to that “Savitar killed the love of my life and i have to save her” bullshit. so wtf am i supposed to do.

  15. RoseBookFan#7 says:

And seriously?!?! When have we not seen some superhero shows that had their serious & comedic times Hmm?
Justice League? Batman The Brave & the Bold? Teen Titans??
Exactly my point so Flash isn’t any different!!! Also liking or doing a musical doesn’t mean you’re gay. There are many straight men that like & do musicals too & they eventually get the ladies ?
So just give it a chance it’s only one musical episode it’s not like they’re gonna do another

  16. Emex 0 says:

Am I the only one that is actually excited for this episode?

  17. RectonPunch says:

Man why do some people get so sensitive over musicals? I guess they just want to see more Flash vs. Savitar fights since that’s all some people really care about.

  18. Lygar X says:

My name is Barry Allen and I am the greatest singer alive. To the outside world, I am an ordinary Super Hero known as the Flash, but secretly with the Help of Kara, we made a cross over musical episode. I once sung Karaoke with Caitlin Snow, but in doing so we opened up a demand for a musical episode. I am the only one that can meet this demand. This is our musical crossover.

  19. freddie stompy says:

people are so mad at this it’s actually funny like you don’t have have to like it so why did you even click the video?

  20. Billy THE KID Lawrence says:

I can’t stand all the close-minded cry babies that claim this episode is a waste of time and that they’re going to skip it or that they won’t watch the show anymore because of it or that it’s just for Glee fans. “Wah,…wah….I’m too manly for this episode because music is for squares. Music is for pussies.”

One: I’ve never watched Glee and I’m excited as fuck for this episode. It’s fun to see something different.

Two: Open up yourselves, you close-minded people, to fun shit like this. It’s okay to admit that musicals and other fun things can make you happy and have a good time. It’s not unmanly or lame by any standard. Someone can sing and have that be their passion too just like any other art on this planet.

Three: It’s also not made for Glee fans because The Music Meister is a legitimate villain that poses a threat. (See Batman the Brave and the Bold episode Mayhem of The Music Meister. You won’t be disappointed.)

Four: If you’re really gonna skip the episode over people doing what they love to do like this, have fun being an asshole making a show you like’s ratings go down while shitting on the arts of others. Chill the fuck out and quit blaming other people for your own entitled bullshit.
