I’m kinda surprised that Jaiden didn’t mention the Pirate Lakitu just saying “I oughta feed ye to the fishes for taking me treasure…” as an ominous line of him casually threatening Mario even after he won. Still, glad to see something not often talked about
i unironically LOVED this game to death, this is also my first time learning of any sort of plot LOL
the songs are just fire, my brother loved the squid song, i loved wario’s song, my cousin loved the weird one Jaiden didn’t like, and i constantly revisited the game to attempt clearing Bowser’s song on Very Hard because holy crap was it difficult for 12-year-old me.
i also thought it was hilarious that they gave mario-themed remixes to classical songs like turkish march. this is the height of gamecube no one can prove me wrong, also best DDR game i ever owned, RIP dance pads.
