What the hell were the Americans thinking with the gun? This isn’t a wartime weapon!!!……………….yet

  2. Rodney Yrureta says:

So much hype, didn’t even live up to it. When did HAND TO HAND involve CANONS AND CHAINSAWS? Fight was scripted. Fight for real, we need oil and blood mixing! Make this happen!!

  3. Kent Sorensen says:

Ah, for crying out loud. Can we have the video without that _inane_ _content-free_ _braying_ sports commentator doing blow by blow?

  4. Артем Долгинов says:

the technology is still too poorly mastered, of course the idea of such fights is very attractive, but when you see how slow and inefficient everything is, it’s just ridiculous.

  5. Rj Banks says:

Scripted but has promise more money and teams and we could have gundam w.

  6. Lance Wang says:

I fully expected it to be heavily scripted since they never announced the location of the fight, but still, the fight is much worse than I have imagined

  7. Teeb Seeb says:

Even worse than I thought it would be

  8. RCawdor says:

GO ‘Merica! …now Japan brings out the massive 80 foot killing machine lol

  9. Francis Garcia says:

Scripted or not, i still think it’s unfair, the second fight was like watching a heavyweight boxer fight a lightweight boxer

  10. Cheat says:

What’s with the difference in weight? The USA’s bot is almost twice the goddamn weight compared to the Kuratas, how the hell did you expect them to win? You better add some weight classes next, unless you want it to be this disappointing.

    Honestly, what a let down.

Interesting but this is got a lot of maturing to do before it’s going catch general interest.

  12. Cami Fork says:

This was “dissapointing” and “cringy”, but what did you expect? Fast actions and cool moves like in tv shows? These are REAL giant robots made for combat. They can’t do those flashy moves. I think that’s cool enough even this could even happen (even battle was a letdown).

  13. SIG442 says:

So America gets to use 2 robots and Japan only 1? That’s kinda messed up and unfair. It doesn’t make things look any better with the typical American style TV bullshit.

  14. steven muller says:

I want to watch this but there is too much talking and bs shots of the robots and not enough actual combat

  15. SegmentedOdin says:

is the guy at 2:07 on

  16. N8rown says:

Not bad, when you consider how big these robots are. Look at Robo One if you want to see something more humanoid and agile.

  17. Otis Lundahl says:

    I have 2 points:
1.We absolutely can not take out the humans pre we lose the life or death feel. Nobody would watch high intensity sports or racing if they were completely safe.
    2. I’m sure even the Greeks tried to script a few wrestling matches to be more like plays, but today we have WWE and real wrestling. One appeals to a pretty niche group, but is genuine, and the other is putting out video games. Let’s just see where this goes.

  18. Lochlan Hughes says:

On one hand it’s giant robots fighting for the like, on the other hand it totally sucked for the dislike

  19. basile nolleau says:

This is fuckin History, my children will be learning of this day in school !

  20. Voidac says:

Well that was a massive letdown.
