A scorpion wants to cross a river but cannot swim, so it asks a frog to carry it across. The frog hesitates, afraid that the scorpion might sting it, but the scorpion promises not to, pointing out that it would drown if it killed the frog in the middle of the river. The frog considers this argument sensible and agrees to transport the scorpion. Midway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog anyway, dooming them both. The dying frog asks: “Why did you sting me, knowing that you will die with me?” The scorpion replies: “I am sorry, but I couldn’t resist the urge. It is just my nature.”
He’s trying to get back because he’s lonely, but he’s lonely because anyone he touches dies, and whenever he hills someone he screams because he just wants to be freed from his curse

I like to think this version of Cappy just has serious abandonment issues and gets really upset when you try to leave him for even a second.

If he does run out of stuff to do in SMO he’ll find new things to do when SMO 2 comes out

But that makes his eventual victories more satisfying.

I calculated I would have died exacly 8 times
But the 8 has fallen
If it was me I would have had about 30 deaths.
Because by then I most likely would have given up
