This looks so epic! I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since Breath of the Wild!

  2. GLASYS says:

I’ve spent over 300 hours on BotW, can’t wait for this one! Looks breathtaking, thanks Nintendo

  3. StrikeWave says:

This is most likley going to be a prime example of quality taking time. When game studios actually take their time and don’t rush their games, they can come out as masterpieces. I’m honestly so hyped for this, great job to all of the people who put so much effort into this and BOTW

I’ve been celebrating the release of Zelda games for nearly 30 years.. it’s always an exciting time.

“A delayed game will eventually be good, but a rushed game will forever be bad”
and looking at this trailer, it shows how much heart and soul they put into it. Good luck, devs. May Hylia smile upon you

I got a Switch just for Breath of the Wild! Can’t wait for Tears of the Kingdom now.

@Viking Gamer what ? you know sony , microsoft and nintendo literally strive to have “system seller” type games right ? people may buy an Xbox or Halo games or a PS5 for their exclusives also. Nintendo fans usually buy just for exclusives too.

I got mine primarily for Super Mario Odyssey and, to a lesser extent, Breath of the Wild, but the time and attention I put into the latter was far, _far_ greater than the former. I’ll be sure to preorder when I can.

@advanceddarkness3 water temple? I know that dungeon in my subconscious because I grew up playing that game on n64. Later played it on Wii emulation and now switch

    • advanceddarkness3 says:

@Alba Meira I’m amazed you made it thru the water labyrinth. The original N64 version? Or one of the dumbed down new releases?

    • Michael Duffy says:

I was about to watch a full play through on yt for the second time, and said “screw it, if I’m watching someone play this game for 18 hours, it’s going to be me”.
That was about 2 months ago, but I’ve played Zelda games on other consoles for a loooong time

  7. MildBill says:

The 25 second point of this wonderful trailer I counted 7 “emblems” around a character which gives me hope for traditional dungeons in this game. Very exciting.

  8. Christian says:

This looks nice! Personally I hope the dungeons get a real overhaul. The small and unpersonal dungeons did nothing for me and i really hope we get more traditional dungeons with real personality and life. Can’t wait!

I think (I’m just speculating here), that having those 6 or 8 tears is going to be the thing at the end of each dungeon. That’s what it seems like anyway. Also incorporating the tears of light challenges from SS and TP seem like that’s the direction also. My big hope is that they DON’T just focus on those and we have both dungeons AND tears challenges

    • Denis Sinner says:

      I loved the dungeons.

  9. Mason Manning says:

I’ve been a game of The Legend of Zelda since I was 7 years old. 19 years later, that has not changed in the slightest. Ocarina of Time was actually the very first video game I ever played when I got my first console for my birthday. The Nintendo GameCube. I’m so hyped for Tears of the Kingdom!

  10. M B says:

I can’t wait! I’ve played over 400 hrs of BotW and still love it to pieces. Please take you time, though, and make this another masterpiece!
