Ursula’s glowing tentacles really adds to her sinister charm 🐙
In real life, deep-sea creatures have glowing parts on their bodies to lure their prey and eat them, isn’t it interesting? Whoever came up with the idea to make Ursula glow is brilliant
@Nguyễn Hoàng yeah, it’s very interesting 😃 fish in the midnight zone are as cool as they are very scary
Bioluminescence
@Nguyễn Hoàng i think it’s actually there to help distinguish her movements. Because everything is so dark it would be hard to see the tentacles moving
@Nguyễn Hoàng Yeah, it is called bioluminescence.
i love how melissa is proving everyone who doubted her wrong
@George Floydobsessed fan hi there ,I know this movie is your life….. day and night you think about this movie and you keep commenting on every single video😂
@Avneesh’s artsit’s the only thing keeping George sober, thankfully it’s been about 2 years now so he’s doing good
Yes!
She doesn’t look like Ursula at all…
Idk, the music at least for me doesn’t have the same impact as the original, it fells… Diluted for some reason.
I think Melissa was the biggest surprise. She really transformed herself for Ursula. She’s unrecognizable.
Beep bop… I’m the Philosophy Bot. Here, have a quote:
“I count him braver who overcomes his desires than him who conquers his enemies; for the hardest victory is over self”
~ Aristotle
This is why viewers should really wait and see how an actor/actress portrays and plays their character before judging whether they’re good or bad for the part…and Melissa didn’t disappoint; she is phenomenal as Ursula.
No not really
@Thor yes really
@DaKingBey he call himself thor lol you can’t take serious a weeb like that
Not good at all.
I now regret hating on Melissa for this role before. Im impressed already by this short clip.
So she uses Floatsome and Jetsome for “ones she helped in the past” part?
Of course you regret it you probably also hated on Halle
At least you can admit it 😃 Now to enjoy the film ☺️
Everyone can make mistakes
I love the part where she says “pathetic” and I love the way she said “yes indeed”😍😍😍😍
Love the pathetic. Yes indeed I’m a bit iffy on.
@LokiTheMythMaster “Pathetic” – she knocked it out of the park (especially the 2nd syllable), “Yes” – 4 1/2 stars, “indeed” – downright embarrassing (might not watch)
Her voice when she says “pathetic”!! Sounds amazing
It’s like finally feels good being bad… that amount of liberating power is like… nothing can compare 🥲
Nailed ursela. She. Nailed. It.
But she said it right in front of Ariel, rather than just whisper it to Flotsam and Jetsom. Way to build trust there.
@Hewy Toonmore she was kinda talking about her and then again, not because the people she was singing about weren’t triton’s daughter.
It’s still spoilers
I was a little skeptic because I’m obsessed with Queen Latifah’s version but I have to admit that this looks amazing! The facial expression when she says “pathetic” is pure gold, also loved the glowing tentacles detail. Can’t wait for the movie!
Her little eye roll after she says it. Major Ursula vibes lol
@Alexandra Mazzant yessss! She is so good 🙏
SAME
@Alexandra Mazzant We can admire BOTH at the same time
Mhm that’s Ursula right there. This is so fantastic😍😍. Melissa is going to nail this!
That’s what I always said!
Melissa is totally nailing this. I love how they’ve taken the animated film and turned that into a live action performance that both honors its past, but is also brave enough to take chances and be its own thing.
Honors? Bruh you haven’t even seen it yet
@George Floyd Lol, you are literally on EVERY video for this movie. You are literally an obsessed fan. How crazy. Don’t forget your popcorn on May 26th. I know you’re gonna need it. 🍿
@♡LolirockAngels♡ If I’m on every video commenting that means you did to, which makes you no better then me 🤷🏾♂️
the onyl thing she nails…. is her coffin
Honors its past by playing out the same plot scene by scene and changing characters’ races? Okay…
