We’re shooting our post mortem episode Monday, so make sure to leave your questions down below!

    • Elemental.Renegade.Earth says:

For the postmortem: Could the blaze be referring to a spot of a forest fire? The ashes of the trees in that mountain range are often a lighten grey and white.

    • Esteemedia says:

Of all the mysteries you’ve covered, what’s the one you’d like to see solved the most?

    • Miracle Emery says:

history, starting in the 1660’s ‘Blaze’ was a term used to describe cuts in trees used to mark trails in the woods, (I also believe although I’m not certain that it may also be used by firefighters to refer to a spot where trees have been removed to hamper forest fires. You’ll have to fact check this as I’m unsure) Either way go back to the Browns Creek area and pay closer attention to the trees!

    • David Goliath says:

I dont watch you guys other stuff but I love the unsolved series.

    • Vartika Pandey says:

#postmortem what would shane and ryan do if they ever found a treasure?? #boogara #butwouldmarryshane

  2. Red says:

#Postmortem I haven’t seen the episode yet but i’ll get back to you in 30 minutes or so.

Edit: It’s my new favorite episode.

  3. Bailey Barrow says:

For postmortem: the blaze could have been the white of the water in the waterfall, meaning it could have been on a perch or something behind the waterfall. It killed me that you didn’t check.

  4. Bryony Reeves says:

I’ve got a theory about ‘blaze’.

What if ‘blaze’ means fire like possibly there was a forest fire and it burnt some stuff? Like trees, moss, sticks, rocks? It would make sense with the white as sometimes when things burn they turn white or the ashes left over are white?!

    • Abigail McQueen says:

Bryony Reeves I thought of that too. I also wonder if there’s a way to track his adventures. My father wants his ashes scattered in an area of Colorado that has no emotional ties in our family and I had never heard of before he told me of it.

  5. Will Heath says:

Should have pretended to find a box full of unsolved merch 😂

  6. Alexa Jane says:

At 22:39 does anyone else notice ryan try to push up glassed but he doesnt have any on

  7. Janne says:

#postmortem I just read the poem, it works backwards and the beginning makes WAY more sense? I really like this theory.

I give you title to the gold.
If you are brave and in the wood
Your effort will be worth the cold.
So hear me all and listen good,

I’ve done it tired, and now I’m weak.
    The answers I already know,
And leave my trove for all to seek(?)
So why is it that I must go

Just take the chest and go in peace.
But tarry scant with marvel gaze,
Look quickly down, your quest to cease,
If you’ve been wise and found the blaze,

Just heavy loads and water high.
There’ll be no paddle up your creek,
    The end is ever drawing nigh;
From there it’s no place for the meek,

Put in below the home of Brown.
Not far, but too far to walk.
And take it in the canyon down,
Begin it where warm waters halt

And hint of riches new and old.
I can keep my secret where,
    And with my treasures bold,
As I have gone alone in there.

(Reposting this from a comment thread on the order of the clues by Tyler, would love your thoughts!)

  8. mothsarebroken says:

I think you guys are underestimating how far an 80 year old could’ve walked and in what terrain he could’ve walked in, unless he was in need of a wheelchair or crutches, or had a very bad back. My grandmother is 75 and could easily walk in those woods for a 4 hours hike, without a proper path to follow. I think he could too, especially if he went on the types of adventures I imagine based on what he had collected over the years.

  9. Andrew Bueno says:

Have you guys thought of doing everything opposite of what fenn said.. that’s what I do with my parents

  10. no, im not gr8 m8 says:

can ryan PLEASE wear his indiana jones costume in another video again

  11. ibtisum babar says:

Hey, so this could be totally wrong and probably is but the guy said that he wanted something people would keep talking about for thousands of years and what better than a treasure hunt BUT obviously once found, people will gradually stop talking about it. My point is, what if it’s made up? That’s the only way people would keep going out/exploring the land he loved so much and looking for it and talking about it meanwhile brightening the spirits of those struggling. Obviously it would be totally cool if it actually does exist and I hope it does but maybe, just maybe there is a slight chance that it doesn’t. Also, if it does exist, it’s most probably not out in the open because it could easily catch someones attention by reflecting light or just by stumbling over it accidentally. Anyways, love you guys. #postmortem

  12. Yixing's Dimples says:

#postmortem at 27:12 in the middle bottom of the screen, there seems to be a white symbol on a rock, maybe the treasure was below it?

  13. attlee2010 says:

Why Ryan says: “I don’t think an 80 year old would…”. What Ryan means: “I’m not doing that”.

  14. Migeloo says:

I bet y’all they were very very close to the treasure, they just never realized that.

  15. OhHaiMark says:

also wouldn’t heavy load high water refer to a dam (LIKE BEAVER DAM) rather than waterfall

  16. Fanback says:

I didn’t have much faith in the boys but they almost had me with that square rock

  17. Leanne Clifton says:

    For #postmortem :
My grandad is 80 and he hikes the pyrnees mountains more than once a week. If you have regular exercise like he did, 4 miles is possible. i think Solve 2 shouldnt have been discarded so quickly. Plus, Fenn knew this would be his final footprint on this earth; if i were him, i wouldnt be apposed to pushing my body a bit to find the perfect place to hide my box

  18. Fred King music says:

For postmortem, did you guys lift the rock? It could be a Lid or some other form of “camoflarge” fenn has said people have been within 200 feet of the treasure so it could be sitting under something, this could be considered as camouflage and not as “being berried” but my knollage about this is flawed at best 😀

  19. Nightmare Files says:

Post Mortem is my favorite show whether it’s on TV or YouTube. You guys definitely have a high quality of work.

  20. E.P says:

#postmortem I have a theory of my own! What if Shane brought the knife to kill Ryan and the cameraman if they found the treasure?
