ill never get tired of the bit where the professional says not to do a certain thing then it cuts to one or more of them doing that very thing
Tbh she wasn’t making real tortillas
A true staple in WAR videos 😂
I thought that they had been cutting/editing it so that Ned was coming in 4th every episode, but seeing him get 3rd here tells me that he legitimately lost hard this season. It’s a small thing, and maybe it makes me a bad person, but this made me happy.
Ok but same
Although – I wonder if Ned winning one is the reason they had to do the live show. Like there was one at least one episode he did really well in and won, to the point where they just couldn’t edit around it?
I’ve been a fan since they were all at BuzzFeed and I can clearly say, I agree with you. Never liked him from the start. He’s got this basic b!tch vibe trying to be relevant but the truth is he really had nothing to offer on the table.
Saaaaaaame 😂
@Caitlin You can tell she was. Legit in all videos where they do recipes from the book or try to get recipes right for the book, it’s mainly Ariel that masters them. Ned didn’t have much going for him besides the bread and without a recipe.
I’m SO PROUD of Zach, he’s literally come from not knowing what anything in the kitchen is, to making something so good without a recipe that the judge actually wanted his dish on the menu. Well done Zach.
Well, it is called practice. You would not always get it right the first time, but as you continue practicing you get good at something you never thought you would have done at all. And also if you have experience with making tacos, and Zach went to a taco making class and eat tacos in Mexico, so there is a chance that he will win. So, it is his time to shine in this episode.
The fact that Ned’s laugh can still be heard every once in a while is like a ghost reminding us to stay humble and treat others well.
@Nia’s Dreams 31:36
That’s a great takeaway. I like the positive spin on what could be a really negative reminder.
@Nia’s Dreams me neither
Can you give me the time stamp? I didn’t notice
I’m sorry but I am so here for the classy N*d slander 😭😂 from the video editing to the comments. I’m glad the community wasn’t disrupted by his actions. And to the person who said we need to move on , hush. It’s funny asf.
i didn’t even notice he was edited out until the judgement round. the try guys editing team did a really really good job with this whole situation. the turkey at the end made me laugh so hard too
Ik, it was during zachs judging at 31:36 that I heard his laugh and realized there were 3 people standing behind him + wedding ring
Hearing Ro congratulate a turkey was gold 🤣
Zach being ‘Confused in Jewish’ while everyone else sang “Gloria” was the highlight of this episode for me.
Yes!!!!
why was a word censored? it doesn’t have a bad word
Zach was me in that part
@Beth nope. Never heard of it
@Beth a lot of atheists celebrate Christmas. Just without church. I’m on my 31st Christmas. I haven’t been to church once, Christmas or otherwise.
The Turkeys! 🤣 I won’t lie, the thing I look to most is what animal will make an appearance. Editors, I know this time has been tough for you re-editing and salvaging all the footage. You’ve all been so creative in your solutions and injecting your own brand of humour into it. Please know that your efforts are noticed, appreciated, and loved.
Zach in WAR going from putting all of his favorite sweets in the bread and ending up with whatever the heck the Bucksweet ‘bread’ was, to managing to mix Mexican tacos and Jewish Deli and make it work amazingly, is the best character arc
..I just now realized the abbreviated name for Without a Recipe is WAR. Somehow that’s hilarious. 🤣
Eugene making 40 tortillas but only making one taco is just iconic 🤣
@Sabrina the holy quesadilla shall forever be the greatest quesadilla ever invented 🙌🏼
and it wasn’t even a taco lmao
I felt sad 😭he genuinely was disappointed that he made 40 but only used like 1-3 tortillas
That was so freaking funny
As an ADHD person, can relate. I’ll get hyper focused on one part of something that I don’t allocate the right amount of time to get things done. 😂
I love seeing Eugene not too focused on whether he wins or not and just having fun embracing his creativity, I think he used to feel the need to always be the best at things and put that pressure on himself and he’s really relaxed and allowed himself to have fun over the past couple years
He’s clearly having so much more fun too, and I’m a big fan
It does make me sad though that because of his amazing presentation he couldn’t make more than one in this episode
