Writer/director/producer M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs, Unbreakable) and producer Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, The Purge and Insidious series) welcome you to Universal Pictures’ The Visit. Shyamalan returns to his roots with the terrifying story of a brother and sister who are sent to their grandparents’ remote Pennsylvania farm for a weeklong trip. Once the children discover that the elderly couple is involved in something deeply disturbing, they see their chances of getting back home are growing smaller every day.

Shyamalan produces The Visit through his Blinding Edge Pictures, while Blum produces through his Blumhouse Productions alongside Mark Bienstock (Quarantine 2: Terminal). Steven Schneider (Insidious) and Ashwin Rajan (Devil) executive produce the thriller.

  6. Lee Wilson says:

Nana’s been acting a bit strange. “Would you get inside the oven to clean
it?”, *Gets inside the oven*. Doh.

I’m glad to see that M. Night Shyamalan is back to his original roots, in
some way. I just hope it’ll be as successful as his first 4 films from “The
Sixth Sense” to “The Village”, they were his Crowning Achievements & I did
enjoy “Lady in the Water”. Because I’d hate to see him end up with another
terrible flop, especially like “The Last Airbender” & “After Earth”. But I
never gave up on him. And the most important part is that I just hope
there’s a twist ending in this film.

    “Old People: The Movie”
Honestly, it would have been scary enough if it was about the grandparents
getting a new computer and having to call their grandkids up for tech

  15. Corey Walker says:

This looks like one of those movies where you get frustrated because you’re
thinking, “why don’t they just leave the house and call the police.”

Best comedy director of the 21st century

  17. IsItModern says:

No, no, no, not another found footage, hand-held film. I hate these things.
They’re so convoluted in how they have to think up ways to keep the camera

  18. Michael De Dios says:

Sixth Sense was the best I’ve seen from you. This doesnt look like a killer
    horror movie.
