The Walking Dead: Dead City looks like a lot of fun with the New York City location and more tension between Maggie and Negan. I’m so excited to see this!!!

I’ve been watching walking dead for a while now and seeing these spin off shows now can’t believe how far the show has gone time flys by! Happy to see Negan and Maggie once again in a post apocalyptic Manhattan I really hope dead city turns out to be good can’t wait!🧟‍♂️

      Same 😊

Thanks for bashing my boyfriends head in……..lets work together now 😀

This makes no sense. But the show looks like fun.

These aren’t necessarily spin off shows because it still has main characters. They are continuations. They are just expand the universe by using the same actors and actress. This is a greta idea cause spin off shows with new faces tend to be hit and miss and try to ride on the success of the previous shows but fail miserably like the show Legacies.

@Ralph Warom husband….which only adds on to your point 😂

  4. Thiago Charme says:

My expectation for this spin-off is sky high. Even the trailer is better than many spin-offs. The cinematography, the soundtrack, the performances… WOW

    • RainbowDash says:

@MilkTheGame Michonne and Rick will have their own show, Daryl and Carol will have their own just like Negan and Maggie and I guess that is how they are going to wrap it up for the next 10 seasons.

    • Hutcho 007 says:

@MilkTheGame at the end of the show everyone just settled down in a safe place. Maggie went off on her own i believe but her son was taken so she needs help to get him back

    • MilkTheGame says:

@RainbowDash brooooo whoa Michonne and Rick having there own show instead of Rick and Darryl😠 that’s cool IG why can’t they all be together

    • Joseph Krakowski says:

      @Gaming Noah Bro chill

    • Mclovin No name says:

@Joseph Krakowski who’s vlud and why is he an undead parkour master

    • DrNightmare says:

Oh it the variants walker and super bloater walkers

    • Aldaz108 says:

@Gaming Noah Walkers were always meant to have different sub-species(if you’d call it that? ) Look at the first season, using rocks to break windows, Morgans Wife trying the door, forming hordes like cattle and seeking out their targets, then there’s a few others too as examples of this. End of the day I think it makes it a little more entertaining, going with the slow decaying zombies means you just wait it out a few years for the end of the world. However, if the bio weapon(which I believe this was lore wise in TWD) which has infected everyone makes small mutations like sprinters, bloaters, hunters ect… (think l4d2 variations) over time and stops the decay then you have a world filled with zombies for a long, long time which pose greater threats.

Looks like we’ve stepped into something that actually resembles something cinematic.. and not just the usual TWDU stuff.
    I dig it.

    • Captain says:

They’ve thrown a lot of shit at the wall… and not all of it has really been performing good. Fears season 7 performed truly awful. The other spinoffs havent really been big successes. Maybe they finally realized they have got to do something new and actually interesting to keep this a franchise that can stand on its own for another decade. I hope so…

    • Ryan S says:

Feels like a movie not a show

    • Jarrod Edson says:

@Captain I stopped giving hope for this show since season 9 and onwards have sucked

    • chocolate cake says:

      Visually, this looks really good.

    • Metal Crusader666 says:

@Jarrod Edson Thats why you are here ?

  8. Sash Lipinski says:

Weird. This actually looks pretty great. Love the color timing of the night scenes. Gives it a high quality look and feel.

  9. James Jeans says:

Holy shit, they’re actually doing crazy variant zombie monsters now? Sweet.

  10. Lyriq Page says:

Honestly, this looks like what Resident Evil was attempting to create with their movies. Dead city looks amazing and as realistic as we will probably ever see a post-apocalyptic New York full of walkers.

    • Deactiv8dStylez says:

that last walker had a resident evil feel to it, maggie looking almost like alice, and then you got negan and all the survivors, this is going to be intense.

    • Lyriq Page says:

@Deactiv8dStylez I agree, it gave me the real Resident evil vibe also, but better because the walking dead is more realistic with how the zombies are. That ending zombie looked so cool and also scary! I love it! Maggie did look like Alice hahaha.

    • Ava Cherubin says:

Well Maggie does look like her now so…🤣

    • Lyriq Page says:

@Ava Cherubin Facts hahaha. Love the energy she had in the trailer though

    • FOC Grimlock says:

Resident Evil only have BOW and The Walking Dead didn’t have BOW
