The Larry and Fritz story absolutely baffles me. Of all of the stories I’ve heard from you, this one is the most baffling. Where did the childhood memories of Fritz come from? How did he have documents verifying he was Fritz? It’s very confusing.
Also, I can’t imagine how hard losing your loved one twice would be. It’s bad enough that they thought he died/went missing in a storm, but them to find him, and have him tell you he doesn’t even know you would be heartbreaking. Then you prove to him that he is in fact your loved one and he’s back in your life, only to lose him to cancer a year later.
ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING.
I see the sympathy for his family for sure, but does anybody else feel sorry for Larry? I think he truly believed he was “Fritz” Johnson. He was living a great life, and it all ended when a relative randomly ID’ed him. Sad story all the way around.

Perhaps the cancer head spread to his brain, which would explain why it was causing his brain to play tricks on him. After all, a brain Tumor can cause some insane symptoms. Take Charles Whitman for example. It was determined, after he had died, that he had a brain tumor was likely the cause of his violent impulses.
@Pamela Walsh identical twins have same DNA but different fingerprints. I am baffled by this story. I think the simplest explanation is he faked the whole thing.
I let my imagination fly with this. During the storm he was found by a boater. Who had also found Fritz’s wallet. He was brought to a hospital with that is and let go in that town where he started a new life as Fritz. The tumor caused the memory problem
First story: I was thinking at first that something so horrifying happened to Larry during that storm that he developed a severe case of DID, but I understand why they went to the amnesia conclusion.
Second story: Definitely the saddest story, but it’s also a very good cautious tale: ALWAYS listen to yourself. If you’re absolutely terrified of doing something which, if it goes wrong, could kill you, do NOT do it. It has nothing to do with “oh but it’s safe, millions of people do it”, and everything to do with the fact that fear paralyzes, yes, but also greatly impairs judgement, which is sadly what happened to her.
Third story: As someone else suggested, this is, more than likely, a huge setup to get to kill the wife while blaming it on insanity, and it worked. The fact that Marie also “spoke in tongues” and yet was somehow not deemed in need of an exorcism, the fact that he somehow only started getting those “demonic possessions”, conveniently, when his wife confronted him… Pretty sure they were just discussing plans on how to get rid of his wife.
That… or he suffered from extreme case of psychosis.
Wouldn’t be surprised if he was also just generally not well in the head and marie brainwashed him into believing he was possessed by demons. She may have been having an affair with him as part of her attempts to gain control of him.
For the third one Christians and some Catholic groups (not trying to say you are wrong) Marie is speaking with the Holy spirit inside of her and Michael is speaking with a demon inside of him thats why she doesn’t need an exorcism. Just trying to educate you a bit! 🙂
Good on all but the last one. There was obviously forces of evil at play. If it was just some elaborate hoax to kill his wife, what person would be able to literally rip someone’s face off in a right mind. He also killed the dog, why would he do that? Suddenly falling victim to psychosis out of nowhere? I’m not to sure about this church, but sounds pretty demonic to me.

Based on the fact that he had the “paperwork” saying he was, in fact, John Johnson as soon as he got to Oklahoma makes me think his entire story is bogus and he knew exactly what he was doing the whole time. I’m not too sure I’m buying the “amnesia theory.” When someone gets into an accident and loses their memory to amnesia, they aren’t going to have another identity ready to go within a couple of days and/or weeks. Sounds to me like he was just embarrassed to admit that he walked out on his former life by faking his own death.

Why would he go do the fingerprint thing if he really was just trying to run away from his former life?
I think he knew what he was doing when he faked his death, he probably eventually got amnesia due to his cancer, but he remembered his current life because thats who he was when he forgot everything else.

First Story: Look, if a life insurance policy is paid out – leave the person alone. Everyone’s life was actually made worse by pressuring Fritz to to confirm his identity.
I mean technically he is dead. The mind of Fritz is gone.
The first story he’s already told before. Does no one remember this? Idk maybe it was taken down but I am one million percent sure he already covered that one, tho not the other two.
People often pass out or suffer a panic attack right before attempting their first bungee jump. I was an EMT in an area with a bungee jump location nearby and firsties not being able to get their first jump over with because they freak out and need medical assistance is common. Yecenia’s tragic end is the result of negligence. It’s standard protocol for staff to not have the jumper be on the platform until harness and rope are secured. Once on the platform, the jumper must be held on to by at least one staff member until they clearly state that yes, they do want to go through with this. Clearly, neither of these things happened. RIP Yecenia.
It’s easy enough to imagine Larry’s cancer that claimed his eye had resulted in some form of brain damage as well, causing the amnesia.

I definitely agree with everyone in the comments about how Larry’s story seems kind of odd and that it might be possible he faked his own death, but if that was the case, I think he’d try a little harder to conceal himself from public view. Didn’t he say he was well known and even went on tv? Wouldn’t a man trying to run away from his old life try a little harder to stay away from media?
Also just say go away when his family started asking questions lol simply walk away, done
For the 3rd story – during his outburst at the church group, Marie was also speaking in tongues. Makes me wonder why she didn’t have an exorcism performed on her too. Seems like she needs to be looked into further. Who knows what weird stuff happened during their “alone time”? Perhaps it was more sinister in nature than just an affair…
