this is near perfect, and the things i normally think of as must haves don’t matter w this design. they’ve captured so much of what i would want.
Total Ditto !!!!
Very elegant and sophisticated. I love it! Thank you for sharing with us.
Thanks Shirley!
Wow! what a cool home. Love the cat run in particular. Keeping pets in a tiny home has always seemed like an issue to me and this is a great solution
No mames los gringos bien piñados por las casitas, en México hace 30 años las tenemos con el Infonavit.
Living Big…
…in a Full Tower PC Case! :]
(feat. ‘cat run’ instead of mouse)
ROFL
Great point.
I thought ir looked like a pc case.
Everyone’s commenting about the cost of the house but what about the land he said it cost him 645k ? tho it’s a lot of land ?
+Merna FrederickThey don’t seem well matched either. He seems to hesitate after some of her comments. I hope not though, it would be nice if they were well matched and her dream of a tiny coming true.
That’s super cheap for Australia
GlobalSRB can’t even get 1500 square feet in Cali for 645K??
+bcaiqs Bet money or stop lying
+Mr Nice how you making so much money
Love the flush toilet!?. Actually the entire home . The husband was funny . Stunning.
Truly astonishing! Thank you Bryce for finding this and showing. You have such a great way with people and are a great example of courtesy to others.
Thumbs way up to a man who refers to his cats as his “children” ?
Oh Aaron and Kodi chillax. If he wants to refer to them as his children he can. You don’t make the rules so just breathe.
I hate cats
Who care s what you hate Nicholas
Christel1115 he sure can call them that, I’m all for people saying whatever they wish, however, his right to say that does not make it a fact, or correct in anything other than the head of the person saying it. My statement however, is based in fact. People don’t give birth to cats, or dogs, they give birth to tiny humans. Soooooo, ya know, he’s wrong. Which is fine. It’s just not a real thing.
A peculiar evolution. ‘Pet’ used to refer to a favored child or spouse for centuries and never referred to a nonhuman.
At some point, animals were domesticated enough, and trained to live in houses. Birds were the initial pets, falcons and such, including parrots. Often eating off the masters table. Centuries later, some guard dogs became in house pets. Then the nonsense of emotional projection and clever Hans dynamic convinces otherwise rational adults to equate other species as children.
Sad, pathetic and desperate lonely inadequately emotionally social to have a true human connection to real children.
What a stunning project. I love the couple too – very “real” – they clearly had some differences between idealism and pragmatism, but between them found a brilliant balance. His craftsmanship is stunning, but he’d have never done this without her. Very inspiring. Fantastic video production too btw – this channel just keeps getting better and better.
Hoping they get old together and build this type of small homes too.
Stunning project. Love all of the design. Only thing which is missing to me is a proper kitchen table, or something like this.
Martin Krisam they probably eat outside on the deck area
I live in Hongkong, most people here live is much much smaller apartments then most tiny homes on this channel.
+Elena You are talking out your backside! I’m 48 years old, I have never wanted kids. Most of my friends don’t have kids and we are glad we didn’t have them. I own my home, my car is payed off and I have a college education. Women now a days want more out of life then to just be breeding and raising kids. Just because people don’t want to add to the overpopulation means we have more time and money for other things. Travel is a blast.. going to Europe and experiencing other cultures and food. Reading a book from cover to cover on the weekends. You make it sound like because someone doesn’t have kids they just need to crawl into a corner and die. Bottom line: You don’t have any clue what you are talking about.
+Elena Are you kidding? Because this comment is way more ignorant than I thought it would be. You know, there are more significant things to do in life for some people. Like, for me, continue researches as a physicist, which I personally find way more amusing than having a kid. Blah blah blah You’ll feel depressed blah blah blah. News: we’re not animal to be bred, we’re humans with a self-consciousness and able to determine what we want and what we don’t. Stop assuming people are just like you. Maybe you are the one depressed here.
What. The. Fuck.
I live in Vancouver and our 1BR condos are about 500sq ft. They are not as functional as this tiny home and cost about CA$650,000
Yes, but this is a HOUSE, not an apartment. It’s a TINY HOUSE.
I live in America and they have more storage space than I do
I think this is my favorite tiny house. Thank you for sharing.
Mine too. I couldn’t do a ladder to a loft. This one is great. And the cat house is funny.
By far just looking at the outside. Black. Elegant. Looks rich
Aftr commenting that this is the best tiny house I’ve ever seen… I just realise that every comment has the same sentence in it… A proud moment for matt and lisa…
Supreme craftsmanship, most well designed tiny house I have seen.
This is my favorite tiny house so far. The design is stunning. It is extremely functional. I would live here. This guy did a great job.
This is a Tiny House for people who don‘t wanna live in a tiny house
Elvis Presley it’s a dream for YOU lol
He seemed a bit resentful
+Fuert Neigt yah he is reach but girl isn’t attractive she is alright doesn’t seem like a gold digger. He looks pretty handsome though.
Yeah.. he seems like a cranky guy. Lol!
Well he stood this ground on not wanting a composting toilet and put in a flushing toilet. Kind of hard for me to determine if he’s regretful about building the tiny house. He just seems to have a relatively flat affect and demeanor.
evan g note that she said he made her this house
it does seem like there’s regret in him after everything was done, but its justifiable.. you buy that large piece of land and the most logical house to build would be a medium size cabin or even a large one, complete with everything, BUT the girl wanted it her way and some of her moves are not logical.. why would she want a composting toilet if they own the land, a composting toilet works best if you got it in a trailer to drag around and you have a tiny home but don’t own a piece of land, you could drag your tiny trailer home with composting toilet to a friend’s farm or family farm etc… check out 17:06 ,you don’t have to be a shrink to read the guy face that there’s remorse and regret somewhere in there…
So she met a millionare by chance, online… he just went along with her plan of building her s house, in a huge plot of land in one of the most expensive cities on earth.. Okaaay….
they seem super introverted
+Celestial Babe who asked for your response?
ChelseaRavenFlame Exactly ?
@F3 Optic: I thought I was the only one who got that impression! Their energies don’t mesh at all. Dry Aussie humor or not, when she called his cats, who Matt considers his children, “those little suckers” at 8:08, I had a feeling her heart isn’t in sync with his. She’s majoring in East Asian Studies — once she meets a hot Japanese or Korean dude, there’s a strong possibility she won’t be able to resist. I hope that if they’re married that Matt had his lawyers draw up an airtight prenuptial agreement.
+ChelseaRavenFlame c She wanted the tiny house just because she saw it in the tv.
It’s beautiful but I don’t get the point. If you have the land to build a bigger house then why not just build a full size luxury house? Especially if you’re going to spend that much money and go all out with all the luxury features. It just seems like she wanted the trend of having somewhat of a tiny home and he managed to shrink what he already had. I thought the point was to live minimal and save money. ??♀️ It is stunning though.
Full size houses are mostly wasted unused space for 2 people.
He is already rich and from a rich family, it is his girlfriends dream, she had always wanted to own a small house, and he built her a very nice one to live in. As long as the girl is happy, then her man is happy. Good for them.
Fuert Neigt > how do you know that’s he’s rich and from a rich family? Is he well known in New South Wales?
Beautiful house and enough land to expand or sell, but why the dish washer? All that work and can’t wash a few dishes by hand. Could have put in a pull out table.
exactly. they just have a tiny house for the sake of having a tiny house (almost as something to show off on instagram), not for the true reason people have tiny houses (it’s practical and green, etc).
Guy: This is absolutely astounding and particularly genius!
Guy who owns the house: yeah
Well it is amazing, but since he lives there everyday he probably got used to it and isn’t astounded by it anymore. So it is just average to him and he replies, “yeah.” as if it was not a big deal.
