Trying A Full Face Of Japanese Drugstore Makeup

Trying A Full Face Of Japanese Drugstore Makeup

So we traveled to Japan to film a three-part series about beauty & style and our final episode is testing a full face of makeup from the Japanese drugstore! I’ve heard so much about J-beauty and Japanese makeup trends like Igari makeup, so I decided to buy a full face’s worth of beauty products and try them out, along with some current makeup trends. What did you guys think of my Japan-inspired makeup look?

I’m actually kind of shocked how much just make-up made you look like Japanese models, especially the lips and the under-eye make up. It was also bizarre because your features are so different from a typical Japanese girl. I gotta say though the contacts made it freaky, and I’m someone who hangs out with weebs and cosplayers a lot so I’m technically used to see ppl with huge anime eyes. Not your style though Saf, sorry, haha.

Wow!! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Tyler is a lucky man ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

Only you would look gorgeous with a forehead tattoo of Boaty Mcboatface or whatever ahahaha

I have those scissors and I LOVE them. Iโ€™m really into Asian beauty trends. I like the cute girly style. So itโ€™s perfect for me ๐Ÿ˜

Also if you like the cushion foundation. When you โ€œrun outโ€ you can flip the sponge part inside to get the rest. ๐Ÿ˜Š

You look like anime character ! so cute!!

  9. Kaia Brushaber says:

8:22 Saf you can always pull the sponge out and flip it as there is always more product, or add a few pumps of you favourite foundation into it

Quick tip on the nose contour! You have to put the shadow *next* to your natural shadow (so, on the sides of the top of your nose rather than where the actual shadow is). If you just darken where your natural nose already is, you’ll actually end up with a more prominent and larger nose instead. The idea is to create make the shadow look like it starts closer to the middle than it actually does, essentially thinning it.

    Aww she looks so cute

I loved this series you did on Japanese culture, the spa one was my favorite. I love makeup so this was interesting. No a tattoo should mean something to not, not picked at random. ๐Ÿ˜… It’s your choice but I hope you won’t hate it after you’ve done it xxxx

  14. GulaSage says:

you look young and healthy with this make up. By far my favorite.

  15. blair says:

    wow that foundation looks awesome!

  16. Kat Nickolas says:

There is alcohol in the solution the contacts come in. You are supposed to put them in normal solution for a few hours before putting them on so you dont hurt your eyes.

  17. pink xo says:

    YOU LOOK SO GORGEOUSSSS

  18. Palak Sharma says:

That foundation is available in the US and worldwide. I’ve heard so many beauty YouTubers take about it. Just FYI in case any of y’all were looking to buy it.

  19. Vasilikis Beauty Tips says:

The foundation looks really nice! I am wondering if they will release to Europe too! The circle lenses are great on you and congratulations for 5M!!!

i’ve been to Japan and I did not find any food to eat there, let alone makeup. Everyone there would chant “Sharimase” when you enter the store and while you shop
