Stay safe and please don’t forget your pets.
@Isakk Fleming Pets have feelings!
@Richard Lacey such ignorance. How many lives will be lost trying to rescue you when you start crying for help? They’re stay cats in leave them and get out
@john lawful simple,humans are more important
“Dog lovers” are the worst of all humans.
Why does Louisiana not turn all lanes into outbound lanes during an evacuation? Saw the same thing with Katrina. Here in Texas all lanes only go outbound during evacuation with maybe one lane as an inbound lane if not a mandatory evacuation.
@MMMK Contra-flow has been used in every SE LA evacuation situation since long before Katrina, and it was done for Katrina. It didn’t happen this time because the idiot democrat mayor of New Orleans didn’t prepare for implementing it. Also, three of New Orleans’ drainage pumps are not working, which is due to more incompetence.

@Elmosweed your a idiot it still spreads covid. We have a employee who took the shot and gave covid to others. That had the shot as well. Don’t come with bs.
The worst risk is a levee breach, again. There are so many miles of levees that have to function and the pumps also need to stay on. This is going to be a heck of a test of the upgrades they put in since Katrina.
This is going to be another Katrina lol Biden is fucked
Just remember that ALL of the ‘upgrades’ were built/installed/maintained by the LOWEST BIDDER. Good luck!
@American Woman about 90% of that money went into pockets of politicians and corporations. its probably gonna be bad.
“upgrades” — Good luck.
As people leave for safety, I feel heavy-hearted for the animals, wondering how many pets will be left behind. I do not have family to lose, and I could accept losing my house, car and other material things, but it would devastate me to lose my little kitty’s. I could not never leave them behind.
Most shelters don’t except animals, so people have no choice but to leave them behind.
@Brian Gallegos they are absolutely not children, human life is more important and you’re stupid to risk your life for a stupid dog.
Sarah Berry we as humans are smarter than animals therefore it’s our responsibility to take care of them they rely on us
Richard Lacey how is everything going for you?
Be safe folks. Take care of your family and pets. Put clothes in plastic bags if you can.
Stay safe y’all. And be courteous to each other.
Louisiana can’t seem to get a break. Prayers to all the residents.
Ty i am from Louisiana
@KINGEJALMIGHTY19 praying for you and all
they’re below sea level..this state will most likely be submerged around 2070

@jage you’re using logic, people today think nature has feelings and ignore the past until it meets the present.
That’s crazy that it’s exactly 16 years. I’m so worried for all the people in hospitals that can’t easily evacuate
I don’t know, why not 15 or 20 years. Just seems kind of random and the news trying to make a bit more of the story.
It’s a good thing that George Bush isn’t in office, isn’t it?
A duddering old man in the oval office is the last thing on earth that we need right now, isn’t it?
Oh, wait…
@Psibug Because math counts..?

@doughesson . Lets hope the federal government’s response is better this time, but given what’s just occurred in Afghanistan I do have my worries and doubt.
