VADER EPISODE 1: SHARDS OF THE PAST – Star Wars Theory FanFilm

Anakin Skywalker is DEAD.
For eight months, the mysterious Darth Vader has enforced the Emperor’s commands. Fighting between the loss of Padme, and the new cursed life he now leads, Vader must do what must be done when a surviving Jedi Master from Order 66 has lured him to the home planet of his late Wife’s tomb…

This project is single handedly the most amazing thing I’ve ever been part of. Without Danny Ramirez’s guidance and help, this never would have taken off the ground, let alone…gotten to where it is today. I owe him a lot. He is da coooolest. I thank every single one of you for watching my videos and supporting my channel. I will do my best to excel your expectations for years to come and provide entertainment you deserve. I thank you for everything, and I hope to one day make episode 2 a reality. In the mean time, all I ask, is for you to share this video, and hit like to spread to word. I couldn’t have done this without the talented people behind it. You know who you are (that long credits list). I love you all. And to the fans, meeting hundreds of you at the free premiere in LA was surreal. I will post everything soon from the event. You’ve changed my life forever, and I hope to bring you this first episode (and many more I hope!) as a gratitude and gift for what you deserve. I am eternally grateful.
ENJOY AND MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU, ALWAYS!!!!

This is a token of my appreciation to the fandom, and for all of you who have supported me over the years by watching my content. This is just the beginning!
This fan-film is unmonetized and ad-free in correspondence to Lucasfilm’s explicit rules to me.
    I love you all
May the force be with you!

PS – My face reveal is…let’s just say…full of rage and fear 😉

  2. (V)iSTRFiNGA says:

HOLY $hit!!! This was CLEARLY made with LOVE by TRUE Star Wars Fans!!! THANK YOU SOOO much for giving us what we have been starved for from the mouse!!! Why don’t people like you get the jobs to put things like this on the big screen!?! I CANNOT WAIT for you to make more/continue this!!! Thank you, I will share this with EVERYONE I know!!!

  3. Frenchy614 says:

This is incredible work. You should really be proud of yourself. May the force be with you.

  4. Z.KILLER 898 says:

I feel like the opening scene is the correct way the force would be most likely used by actual force users. Because in the movies, once the Jedi’s lightsaber is out of their hand. They do nothing with the force to stop bullets or a lightsaber strike.
That why I really like how the force was used in this short film. It truly shows the raw power of the force.

  5. Star Wars Story says:

5:37 The Girl who plays young Padme does an Amazing Senate impression!

  6. Justin Behan says:

This is amazing… Vader, the clones, the music, the visuals and effects – especially that entire scene on Naboo with the filming and editing and the transitions. Actually perfection! MOST IMPRESSIVE. I can’t imagine how this could be with an even higher budget to create a more lengthy episode. Good job Star Wars theory. I really hope Disney and/or Lucas films makes something happen for you after they see this. I cannot wait for part 2.

PS… and I hate to even have 1 negative comment at all… Palpatine is good…. I just wish his voice and a few lines weren’t exaggerated or “cheesy”. Please don’t hate me! I could never do a better job or even come close! Just wishful thinking from a super fan, that’s all!

Amazing job once again, I am truly in love with part 1 and the idea of the rest of this potential series!! You’ve made a birthday and Christmas wish come true man!

    Thank you, from Toronto Canada!!

    • Mikkel Siegenfeldt says:

I concur. SWT and his team did a fantastic job, if I May say so! I got more of a Star Wars feeling than I did with all the New ones..

    • Justin Behan says:

+Matthew Miller it’s nearly impossible to recreate those exact characters without reusing the same actors, so it’s totally understandable lol. I just think that the voice IS there – it’s just a little exaggerated and doesn’t really enunciate the lines like The Emperor. Just an opinion. Again i loved this entire part 1!! 😀

    • Matthew Miller says:

      Vader was amazing though!!!

    • Matthew Miller says:

And I can’t wait to see Elliot Branch as Mace in episode 2

    • darqube says:

+Matthew Miller Funny thing is, Samuel L Jackson will probably do it for free if he notices this. He’s known for accepting all kinds of roles as long as he’s treated well and has some say about his chars.

  7. Alex. jinx says:

i think that was better than all of disney sjw star wars

  8. BlueBrick says:

I’m not sure how, but this really gives me a connection and makes me sympathize to Vader. I feel bad for him, almost. Excellent work, Star Wars Theory. Can’t wait for Part II.

  9. Aaron Balboa says:

These 10 minutes were lightyears better than Rian Johnson’s TLJ. Unbelievable. Amazing work!

  10. Chaos26golf says:

Holy shit that was amazing. Had chills the whole time. This is what Disney doesn’t understand. We want to see the darker side of Star Wars. True emotion. Wish it was longer. All in all amazing job.

  11. Uncommon Visuals says:

Even if it’s just a fan film and the effects aren’t from a team as huge as big studios, the story is so interesting that I want to watch the full thing! Nice job!

  12. Lukas K says:

I’ve been looking forward to this

  13. lord laus says:

May the force be with this excellent fan movie!!! ITS already better than “Solo”

  14. Gamingdane says:

1000 SJW Disney employees are embarrassed that they got outdone by “amatures”.

  15. SantaMuerte livE says:

Disney needs to hire you. This better then The Last Jedi

    • mobar7170 says:

Power!! That’s how. Only then will you be able to destroy the rival before you. You hear that Ruin Johnson and Jar Jar Abrams?!!? This is how you write and deliver a story. It’s called a “Good Script”!

    • Landry Robbins says:

Jonny 5 Is it really or is that just an exaggeration?

    • Jonny 5 says:

+Landry Robbins no. According to Jeremy Griggs on geeks and gamers he was curious on how employment worked in lucasfilm and from his experiences he found this question come up on the submission form.

    • David Roberts says:

+Landry Robbins Of course that isn’t on the ’employment form’ or whatever that means.

    • flamongo says:

Much better the last two movies ive seen are complete shit
