@Artpopologie technically the Oscar is for her acting during the singing, of course her singing was great in that but even if she sang like..lea salonga level she wouldn’t get the Oscar if her acting was bad 😅
If anyone knows Kelly Clarkson this was clearly not staged because she is super competitive and hates loosing and often she forgets her songs at concerts too🤣 it’s okay kelly we always love you and Anne you did great
@better secret actually anne didn’t have that much help it’s been pretty widely known that she can sing not fantastically but fairly well.

She is not an actress she is only who Kelly is she hasn’t changed even through motherhood and divorce maybe a little tougher but the same humble very competitive goofball that she has always been. As you said actress she is not this is not staged also she refuses to lose
@Alex if you watch her show or if you’ve watched her on Jimmy Fallon she does not lose and when she does she’s pissed Kelly is the type to fight until she wins so there’s no way she would have bowed down and pretended she didn’t know her own song from the first three notes. I think most of us who listen to it constantly probably would catch it but you have to think she has hundreds and hundreds of songs in her head and yes that’s one of her biggest hits but it’s also a very long time ago. It’s not something she regularly performs anymore.
Is the truth she is competitive to the point of viciousness sometimes. I have watched her brutalized Ariana grande on Jimmy Fallon many times to the point that Ariana was bowing to her. But and clearly whooped her butt here and she figured out since you’ve been gone by three notes I’ve listened to that song thousands of times I highly doubt that I would have caught that and considering Kelly’s been singing it for decades and didn’t that was impressive but definitely not staged Kelly would never lose willingly
