CaseyNeistat How will they make sure the people who need it will get the food with all the War lords and corruption in Somalia?
I think you should get some people who operate in Somalia to make sure this does not end in disaster!!

this is so stupid, I’m sorry.
the “plan” is just childish and makes no sense : plane cargos are expensive ! boats an trucks are much more efficient. and there id absolutely no need to get water and food from somewhere else than Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, etc. has food and they can reach Somalia by truck and/or boat

this is how you get relief. not by these ridiculous plans. I can t wait when they will try to get the visas to somalia and oh my, distribute the food and see people fight each other because they won’t have properly organized the crowd control. thats the harsh reality.

this just looks like a PR operation for virtue-signaling, fueled by some weird white guilt trip. Western exceptionalism at work.

Great so now you have utterly destroyed somalias economy once again. Why would anyone produce food there?

GOD BLESS Turkish Airlines and the Turkish people for being so generous! Turkey always helped Somalia and will continue to do so, Turkey loves you Somalia!

  11. Phil Perry says:

Somalia is overpopulated, like most African countries. If you constantly give them money and aid they’ll never learn to stop making 10 kids plus.Btw, didn’t you make several millions yourself lately? Why ask less fortunate people for their hard earned money?

I’ve seen the comments and I came to the conclusion that people cannot be open minded. These deed you guys are doing is one of the nicest things I’ve seen. If it was you that was starving and had no food, one Bottle of water and some bread would feel like a gift from god. I remember reading a story about how little things can make a difference. There was a beach with millions of starfish that washed up onto the beach, a little girl was throwing one starfish into the water at a time, a man approached her and asked why you are doing this, there are millions of starfish, you won’t make a difference. The little girl replied but the ones I did throw back into the water, it made a difference for them.

There’s so much wrong with this I don’t even know where to begin, so I’m just going to say two things. 1. Good luck. 2. There’s at least two (if not more) multi millionaires that are involved in this, why don’t they just pay the 1 million dollars? I already know the answer, I’m just curious why one or two of them just don’t donate the money. Being such a great cause and all.

  16. teo38381 says:

Donated 100$ , looks like I won’t eat this month, but it sure is worth it

  17. VPPAF says:

dont you just love it when multi millionaires ask for your money

This is great you are all helping another country/UN.. I get it… BUT I have a serious issue with hard earned US money being sent to a country with no return on investment. We have MANY MANY MANY homeless & hungry HERE in the US that aren’t getting any assistance at all. Where is the help in the states? Where is the help for the homeless? I get the money goes further there than here in the states, but come on!!! worry about our own people first! Drive anywhere in NYC, Boston, Tampa, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, LA, SFO, San diego, Seattle, PDX, you’ll see hundreds of homeless men, women and children NOT being helped. The money Donny flip flop con-man elect spends on a weekend in FL could help hundreds put a roof over their heads and food on their tables, and possibly medical assistance as well. Again, great you can get this going, for East Africa, but where are the same efforts for anywhere in the states?
